We have talked about nVidia’s next generation of the Tegra series of chipsets a few times already and now we have a leaked roadmap of when we can expect to see the Tegra 4 to land in Android device. Along with that, we also now know that it will be sporting the same 4-plus-1 quad-core structure with ARM Cortex A15s instead of A9s.
Along with today’s announcement of Tegra 3, nVidia was generous enough to show everyone their new roadmap regarding chipsets for Android. We get to see two new names pop up on the usual chart layout for their roadmaps and the possible performance gains each one brings is almost scary. Say hello to Logan and Stark.
As with last years leaked road map for nVidia chipsets, this new one shows off a couple of new chips we have yet to hear about. In this new roadmap, which shows upcoming codenames for future chips coming in 2012/2013, we get to meet two new members of the family, Kal-El+ and Wayne.
