There are a few companies making a hard push onto Android these days such as G5 Entertainment and Alawar Games. The latter of the two released another game the other day called Snowy: The Bear’s Adventures which is a cartoon styled action-platform game.

Gamevil’s RPG series called Zenonia is probably close to, if not the most, popular titles the studio has put out. Across iOS and Android there is a huge following since the days of the original Zenonia. Is it the nostalgic feel to the games or perhaps the subtle, and sometimes not so subtle, humor inside them?
Bitforge Ltd has released their popular iOs puzzle game onto the Android Market a couple of days ago. Orbital is a great puzzle game where you shoot orbs onto the “grid”, hitting other orbs to gain points until you end up hitting the “death line” which, when you hit it, ends the game.
Crawl Space Games newest release onto the Android Market comes in the form of a family friendly game called Crocodile Crossing. So do you help the pigs get home safely or do the crocodiles end up eating them for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been out for a short while now for the Xperia Play which currently features the classic mode (or creative mode depending on what you like to call it) where you can get to build whatever you like. Daniel Kaplan of Mojang has come out to give a general idea of where things are heading including Survival Mode.
As with last years leaked road map for nVidia chipsets, this new one shows off a couple of new chips we have yet to hear about. In this new roadmap, which shows upcoming codenames for future chips coming in 2012/2013, we get to meet two new members of the family, Kal-El+ and Wayne.
Gameloft has just announced that their upcoming 3D FPS game called March of Heroes has been officially canceled. Those of you out there who were looking forward to this game being released don’t have to worry about waiting anymore. However, Gameloft did include a little gem of information in their post.

It’s been floating around for awhile that GameStop would be getting involved in the mobile gaming scene. In fact we’ve known this to be true for some time now and with the recent announcement of their iOS device trade-in program, the news today that GameStop is testing an Android-based gaming tablet shouldn’t be a surprise.
There is a new emulator in town called MAME4droid which was released a couple of days ago. Considering the sometimes short lifespan of emulators on the Android Market, this may be one you want to pick up fairly quickly if you’re into emulators. MAME4droid supports over 2000 different romsets which is a hell of a lot.
