Fans of MMORPGs have another, rather big one, to sink their time into as of this morning. Webzen has globally launched MU: Origin onto Android today after a closed beta and a little bit of a soft launch for additional testing. This particular game is actually an MMORPG and not the type that has become popular to label as an MMORPG, which are really just collectible RPGs with some PvP mechanics.

Released by Halfgeek, Star Nomad 2 is a sandbox RPG that’s set in outer space. Star Nomad 2’s setting is one of a highly advanced humanity, that is also highly divided. People have attained the ability to sidestep mortality, by splicing alien genes into their own.
It’s Friday which means it is time again for another round-up of the Android games that are on sale for this weekend. This week’s round-up is half made up of new titles going on sale, and the other half being repeats from last week. One of the highly anticipated games many people have been waiting for is Borderlands 2 for the Nvidia Shield devices. Originally released as a PC title, Guild of Dungeoneering is a mix of old school dungeon crawler with some of the newer card mechanics, all wrapped up in hand-drawn visuals.
Kairosoft has released another RPG/Sim hybrid game onto Android called Legends of Heropolis. Unlike a lot of other Kairosoft games though, this one doesn’t have you starting off as a fledgling company of some kind. Instead you are in control of an entire town that has been destroyed which you will need to rebuild.
Herocraft has released a new roguelike RPG onto Android today called Dead Shell, which is something a little different when it comes to this publisher. Dead Shell is about settling on what is known as a DOOM-4 planet, which doesn’t sound too friendly, and it isn’t.
Over the past couple of months we have covered the rumor, and then subsequent revealing, of TellTale Games’ new Batman themed series that they have been working on. Now it looks like the first episode is almost ready to be unleashed onto the world as Telltale Games has announced the release date for it.
Mobius Final Fantasy is a game we reported on back in April 2015 when the game was originally revealed. At that time there was no confirmation on whether or not this game would see life over on Western shores. However, thanks to a new announcement trailer from Square Enix, we now have confirmation of a Western release which will be happening in August of this year.
