Angry Birds fans can rejoice now that a new update to Angry Birds Seasons has arrived onto the Android Market. This update brings the Moon Festival celebration to Angry Birds with an Asian theme which coincides with the actual Moon Festival that is held each year.

More news today concerning ridiculous amounts of money is coming out. Rovio, developers of Angry Birds and it’s Rio and Seasons brothers, is apparently in talks with an unknown source to gain funding in the amount of $1.2 billion dollars which will help them continue to try and dominate the world.
Well it happened a little sooner than we expected but we aren’t complaining. Rovio just pushed out the latest Angry Birds Seasons update, called Summer Pignic, onto the Android Market. Once again though, just like the Christmas update, you’ll only be able to play one level per day.
Yesterday we announced that the new update coming soon to Angry Birds Seasons would be called Summer Pignic. Well today Rovio has released a trailer to give a little more insight as to what this update will include theme-wise aside from the standard golden eggs to find.
While there isn’t a whole lot of detail being put forth just yet, Rovio has let out via their Facebook that the next update for Angry Birds Seasons is on the way and shall be named Summer Pignic. There isn’t a ton of information about this update just yet though.
While there is little to no detailed information regarding this, Rovio has dropped a hint at a new game they are working on which will be an “Alternate reality game” featuring Angry Birds Seasons. Although we thing they meant to say an Augmented Reality game judging from the little description they released in their Angry Birds Seasons announcement.
True to their word, Rovio has delivered, on time, a new update for Angry Birds Seasons that we have been reporting on lately. This update brings the Easter theme to Angry Birds Seasons with chocolate eggs, bunny ears on the pigs, and some pretty crazy level designs. So what will you get in this Easter update level-wise?
Rovio have been working on a little project, well actually it is a big undertaking, which will have all their Angry Birds game sync up to users devices. What does this mean? It means that if you buy a new Android device, install Angry Birds, normally you would have to start over again and finish levels you’ve already completed.
Rovio has mentioned via Twitter that Angry Birds Seasons will be receiving an update for Easter. We can only imagine that there will be eggs or egg baskets and possibly pigs with rabbit ears to follow the Easter theme. The update should be out before Easter according to Rovio who also mentioned upcoming updates for Rio and Original versions as well.
