A couple of days ago we talked about a strategy sim game called Ocean Tower by Flaregames. At the time it wasn’t available for downloading to any of our devices and the release date was official set for today. Well it is now May 31st and Ocean Tower is indeed available for download.
Kairosoft’s next addicting pixel-filled sim game has been announced along with a released date. So what will their next title be? It will be called Pocket Clothier and judging from the miniature picture on their site, it will have you running your own clothing store.
Recently we broke news that a port of Bullfrog ‘s classic Theme Hospital had hit the Google Play market, courtesy of Barley Studios. A commercial success on both PS1 and PC its passionate fan base has given it several attempts at trying to revitalize the game through various open source projects. One of these projects named CorsixTH has been somewhat successful at doing this and is almost complete. News recently broke again that Alan from Armed Pineapple has altered the code of CorsixTH and ported it to android himself.

ngmoco is in the new again today scoring another deal, this time with developers of the highly popular game Tiny Tower. In this agreement, NimbleBit will be bringing their next game, called Pocket Planes, to Android using the Mobage network from ngmoco.
Kairosoft seems to be starting a habit of letting all of us know when the next game for Android will be coming and what game it will be. In the past they have never said anything until the game is released except for their most recent title Cafeteria Nipponica and now Pocket Academy.
Following up on yet another story today, a few weeks ago we also talked about Glu’s upcoming addition to the Deer Hunter series of games called Deer Hunter Reloaded. Well that game as well has been released today onto the Google Play store for those of you who enjoy creeping around a virtual forest and shooting animals.
A couple of big announcements regarding Linux Tycoon just landed in our laps. Essentially Linux Tycoon is a “Linux Distribution Building Simulation” game where you build your own operating systems. For the nerd in us, that is rather cool. However, the first announcement is that it will be getting online play. What does this mean?
Sega has brought over and just released their best-selling (and the world’s best selling) football management game onto the Google Play store. Officially named Football Manager handheld 2012, you will be assuming almost total control over whatever team you choose from a variety of leagues.
