Back in September of 2011 we talked about a game called CheeseMan from developer Hicham Allaoui. For those of you not familiar with who Hicham Allaoui is, he has worked on a variety of title professionally for the Nintendo DS including the likes of Raving Rabbids Travel in Time.

Since the funding for Shadowrun Returns has completed and the game will indeed be made, slated for release on Android tablets, one big feature that a lot of people were hoping for is multiplayer. While it was said that multiplayer wouldn’t be coming, at least not right away, we now have more confirmation that it will most likely arrive but it will be after the game’s launch.
Following up on yet another story today, a few weeks ago we also talked about Glu’s upcoming addition to the Deer Hunter series of games called Deer Hunter Reloaded. Well that game as well has been released today onto the Google Play store for those of you who enjoy creeping around a virtual forest and shooting animals.
A few days ago we talked about Gameloft and that they were gearing up to release their first physics-based puzzle game onto mobile called Shark Dash. Well for those of you who have been waiting for this game, it is now available on the Google Play store.
As you may know, the Android family consists of literally hundreds of phones and growing by the day. If there ever was a major complaint from developers concerning device support, fingers would firmly point to fragmentation. While arguing both sides of the coin won’t probably solve much, the most important thing to consumers is customer satisfaction.
Splash Damage is a game development company that has been around for quite some time, developing a lot of first-person shooter type of games as well as team-based titles. Having been in the traditional gaming industry for awhile now, Splash Damage seems to have turned their sights over to mobile gaming and are currently developing their first title called RAD Soldiers.
Up until now the Playstation Suite SDK has been in a closed beta but as of today it is now being opened up to more developers and the status is being changed to an open beta. The Playstation Suite SDK is a set of tools developers can use to create games for Playstation Certified devices whether it be the PS Vita or the Sony Tablet S and everything in between.
The idea of gaming themed Android devices is nothing new, especially since we have the Xperia Play along with a few other Playstation Certified devices along with GameStop tablets with their controllers. the fact is mobile gaming is a huge industry already and it is still growing. Archos sees this and is planning on developing a gaming-centric Android tablet to cater to mobile gamers.
Last week saw Japanese game development studio Asobimo release their first English localized game which happens to be an MMORPG called Iruna Online. Well following that, this week we are treated to yet another Asobimo game translated over to English which is another MMORPG called Celes Arca.
NVIDIA’s own TegraZone is a dedicated app to showcase Tegra exclusive games. New owners of Tegra powered devices can look no further than (except Droidgamers of course) this app to find news and upcoming games and essentially anything Tegra related. With the release of NVISION, the company looks to go beyond gaming and cover all manners of entertainment.
