Gameloft is on a roll with new releases lately. We all know that the crowd is very excited about the upcoming Modern Combat 5: Blackout but there is more to come. Rival Knights was also recently revealed as a new jousting game, presented with some well put together trailers, but now we have a third game creeping its way into the “coming soon” lists, however nothing is really known about it.

Disney has announced over Twitter that they are currently working on a new game called Star Wars: Assault Team. Judging from the lone screenshot and the few details about this game released, it looks like it will be another TCG title that will be released onto all mobile platforms including Android.
For those of you who play Namco’s Tekken themed card battler called Tekken Card Tournament, you’ll be happy to know that the upcoming version 2.0 update will be heading your way this April 2014. The main spotlight with this update is the addition of Hwoarang to the roster of fighters that will be available to play.
Usually when a game gets cloned a Cease and Desist order is sent, usually to Google, and the offending title is taken down. This could be a simple trademark violation or a blatant cloning of another game. Blizzard, however, is taking it a step further and suing a Hearthstone clone that happens to be already available on iOS and Android.
It’s been a crazy week with CES 2014 on the go here in Las Vegas, a slew of projects we have been working on as well in order to get them ready for launching, so needless to say we are pretty exhausted. Perfect World Entertainment has been a mainstay in the free-to-play MMO scene on PC for some time now but the company announced yesterday that they are planning to jump into the console scene too which is rather cool. However, what they didn’t mention is that that would be jumping into mobile gaming as well and have released their first games onto Android called Elemental Kingdoms.
Gamevil has released a new game onto Android today which is a TCG title called Kaizin Rumble: World Domination. The company had a pre-registration for this game going for the past few weeks, offering up sign-up bonuses for anyone willing to pre-purchase an IAP of in-game currency. If you took advantage of that pre-sale, you should have your bonuses available for use today now that the game is live on Google Play.
DC Comics and Warner Bros have decided to release their one-on-one brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us onto Android today. However this isn’t a brawler like the actual original game is and instead this version is a TCG but as far as these types of games go, this one is actually pretty good looking.
Since we are having a rather decent amount of companion applications launching as of late, why not report on one more that has hit Google Play? 2K Games has launched their new companion application for their new NBA2K14 game which is appropriately called MyNBA2K14. If you used their previous companion app for NBA2K13 then you’ll already know what to expect with this one. You may also notice that it doesn’t exist anymore either.
BlizzCon 2013 has just gotten underway today and one of the first announcements to come out of the event regading any sort of mobile gaming is the fact that their multiplayer TCG called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will indeed be coming to Android devices as well, not just the iPad.
