Another article in our GDC Extended series is our hands-on with another Tegra-based game heading our way called Dark Kingdom THD. This is a port of the Playstation 3 title of the same name and features a top-down perspective for you to enjoy while walking around massacring monsters.

As you may have already noticed, a bunch of sites are giving away Transformer Prime quad-core Android tables along with a keyboard dock (also known as a laptop station). Well did you really think we wouldn’t be giving away either? Of course we are! Two of them in fact.
Another game we got to get some serious face time with was Sega’s upcoming Sonic 4 Episode II title for quad-core Android devices. Aside from being able to get a good idea of how the game looks and plays, there is also a rumored release date floating around right now as well although no official confirmation of this date has been given.

So fresh off of the press is a new rumor which Android and Me are reporting on regarding the rumored Google’s 7-inch Nexus Tablet that would be selling for $199 when it is released, if it actually exists. According to two reliable sources that Android and Me spoke with at MWC 2012, Asus will be the company building the device.
One application we have been waiting for since CES 2012 is the Tegra 3 optimized version of Splashtop Remote Desktop. Appropriately named Splashtop THD, this is for Tegra 3 only devices and, if you remember our coverage of CES 2012, allowed us to play Skyrim on a Transformer Prime tablet.
nVidia is really rolling out the announcements today with their big push with quad-core Tegra 3 devices right now during MWC 2012. Not only are they pushing the hardware but the entertainment factor as well. Aside from the new Sonic 4 Episode II trailer, nVidia is also announcing four more games coming to Tegra 3 devices.
More information, including yet another great trailer, has come out during MWC 2012 from nVidia and Sega regarding Sonic 4 Episode II. This new information includes details about the Tegra 3 enhanced version of the blue hedgehog’s next installment into his franchise.
Well here is some interesting news regarding what was supposed to be HTC’s quad-core Android phone. Well, actually, it will still be sporting the Tegra 3 quad-core chipset in it everywhere it is launched except for here in the US.
Our friends over at nVidia have told us that they have coined a new term, or slogan if you will, to describe the Tegra 3 quad-core chipset which is actually five cores in total and not four. The fifth core, which is essentially the power management core, has been referred to using many different terms.
