Contra is a classic arcade side-scrolling shooter from the early console/arcade days that was known for being on the rather challenging side of things when talking about its difficulty level. Since the original game’s release, there have been a few add-ons to the franchise, all of which being challenging in their own right and keeping that difficulty level tradition alive.
Telltale Games has released a trailer along with details regarding the second episode of their Walking Dead: Michonne mini-series. For those of you not familiar with this series, episode 1 arrived back in February 2016 and the story for this three-part series follows Michonne during the time where in the comic books she left the group and disappeared. If you’re a comic buff, this happens between issues #126 and #139.
There’s a decent amount of CCGs on Android, and mobile in general, and most of the are pretty decent. Some are a little on the weaker side of things, while a few actually turn out to be pretty good, such as Hearthstone. Released by RevampedPRO, The Slime King’s Tower is an adventure game that’s set within a tower full of dungeons. In this game, players will assume the role of an adventurer who has embarked upon a journey into the eponymous tower, to rid it of all the slime that can be found.
Nexon was once a name reserved for the MMO world. With titles like MapleStory and Vindictus under their belt, nobody expected them to break into the mobile industry. Now, 11 years after their North American launch of MapleStory, they have close to 10 games on Android and iOS, their most recent title being Medal Masters.
Catpancake and BulkyPix have teamed up for a new game called Flail Rider for Android devices which will be heading to Google Play at the end of this month. This particular game is a top-down driving and wrecking game where the goal is all about destroying stuff… a lot of stuff, and as fast as you can.
We’ve been covering the upcoming expansion for Fedeen Games’ mobile MMORPG called Forsaken World Mobile over the past month or so. We’ve talked about what would be coming with this expansion, including massive new ‘Epic Dungeons’ which are essentially a world event type of thing, as well as new PvP content, more skills, a jump in the level cap, and a lot more. Spacetime Studios has quietly been working on a rather large expansion for their Arcade Legends MMORPG called Curse of the Cryostar. This update, according to the company, is the largest one to date for the game, bringing with is a big level cap jump, a few new dungeons, a lot more items and loot, and a lot of new features requested by players.
Snail Games has released their next big update for their Taichi Panda MMORPG called the Annum update. This new content expansion/update brings with it a number of new goodies and features for players to check out, including a new PvP mode, a new mount, and more.
