You may have been wondering where our “This week in World of Midgard” series went. After the launch of the first round of pre-beta testing started, we figured we would push this update by a few weeks so we can report on a lot more information at once. There is plenty to go over so get comfortable!
On Friday Gameloft sent out a little press release to let all of us know about another new game they have in the works. This new game will be the third installment into the Gangstar series of titles for Android and iOS and just like the first two games, this one will be in a different city.
In indie game developer news, Fakepup Games is gearing up to release their newest title onto Android called Super Bit Dash. For you retro game fans out there, Super Bit Dash will feature retro-style graphics along with a chiptunes soundtrack for you to enjoy in this platform running game.
Max Payne 3 was just announced today but as awesome as that is there was a little addition to the press release which stated that the original Max Payne will be heading to mobile devices in all it’s HD glory. A little digging and a word from someone over at Rockstar has confirmed it will be arriving on Android.

All of you masters of word games out there will soon have another one to get your hands on and slug it out to see who knows how to spell better. Word Fighter, not to be confused with the Word Fighter Lite game already out, brings combat word spelling to Android.
Gameccino has released footage of their upcoming physics puzzle game called Fluffycraft which is due out on Android later this month. FluffyCraft has you placing objects in various areas on each stage in order to get the big fluffy ball with eyes to the smaller fluffy balls with eyes that are in need of help.
Just a little over a week ago we reported on the fact that Sega will be bringing Sonic CD to numerous platforms including mobile. This also meant that we would be getting Sonic CD onto the Android platform as well. However, when we originally reported on it, there were no trailers or pictures available.
Number Eleven Road just formed up and already have a game under development called Escape from Rock Island. This game will be a zombie survival RPG title where you will play as one of the few survivors after the end of the world happens and the dead begin to rise back up for a snack of living human flesh.
Hemisphere Games, developers of hit iOS game called Osmos, has hinted at it arriving to Android in the near future. While some hints are subtle in nature, this one was a bit more direct. The hint consists of somebody playing Osmos on a Motorola XOOM and comes with a caption.
