Hands-on with Shadowgun from Madfinger Games. Serious visuals and new info!

Before the doors even opened for E3 to start, we met up with Madfinger Games, developer of Samurai II: Vengeance and the upcoming game Shadowgun. We got a chance to sit down with them and have a good talk as well as get some hands-on time with Shadowgun.

Shadowgun will be an upcoming OTS (over-the-shoulder) shooter game that features some incredible visuals. Gameplay will be kept simple with an on-screen joystick on the left and a single button on the right which will serve as your overall action button including for shooting. There is also a weapons select button at the top which will be used to pick a weapon to use in your inventory.

Originally reported as a game to be on any Android phone that features the Tegra 2 and upcoming Tegra 3 (quad-core) chipsets, Madfinger has informed us that they will also be making Shadowgun for non-tegra devices as well. The Tegra versions will include more physics and other elements and details while the non-tegra version will be scaled down a bit. The goal is to have it running at 25 FPS minimum on non-Tegra devices.

One last thing to note, Madfinger Games will be working on bringing multiplayer to Shadowgun, possibl in the form of Deathmatch maps and similar. Hopefully that ill make it in before release but if not, it will make it in an update.

You can expect to see Shadowgun drop for all supported Android devices sometime this September. No word on pricing just yet. You can also check out the official trailer below as well.
