You may have thought the the whole Lodsys patent trolling excitement had died but actually we have been collecting names of developers and working in the background over the whole Lodsys patent infringement suits hitting Android developers. A new one added to the list is Rovio.

Our friend, going by the name of AndroidAtNight, has release episode 3 of his new ongoing video series called Android Gaming News or AGN for short. In this video series he runs down a few of the top stories in Android gaming news with his own personal style.
As Round 1 of AGC#2 ends and Round 2 begins we see a lot of familiar names in the top spots that were apart of the first AGC last year. We also see some new names as well! So I’m sure everyone is excited to know the results of Round 1 so here we go!
Connect2Media has signed a deal with developers Sonic Boom to bring four of their titles to Android soon. As part of the deal, two of the games will be Pocket Farmer and Pocket Zoo Keeper and two of the four games should start making their way to Android later this Summer.
You may or may not recognize the name Alawar Entertainment but we are pretty sure you’ve heard of their games such as Farm Frenzy that were published by Herocraft. Well they are gearing up to release one of their bestsellers on iOS onto the Android platform called Gourmania.
It’s time for another Hidden Gem off the Android Market and this time it is a retro-style game that, amazingly, has very small download numbers. Deflecticon is a game inspired by old school titles such as CurveBall or 3D-Pong and features some great glowy retro graphics.
Fieldrunners HD has been available for US Residents off the Amazon App Store for a couple of weeks now but for anyone else outside of the US, it has been available on the Android Market for the same amount of time. Well now Subatomic Studios has expanded the Android Market’s reach.
Gameloft has released another game onto the Android Market which is a bit of a surprise considering no one really knew about it. What is even more surprising is that this game is free. However, wasn’t isn’t surprising is that it’s based off another game. What games is it? Green Farm.
Well here is something you don’t read about every day. Wesley Snipes, yes the actor, is coming out with a game called Julius Styles. The first episode will be landing on iOS sometime in August with the Android version apparently coming later this year.
Halfbrick’s hit Android game, Fruit Ninja, now comes in a full version that requires you to spend absolutely nothing. That’s right, Fruit Ninja is now free to download and play in all it’s full version glory. This is great for anyone who hasn’t played the game yet and have been wanting to try it out.
