We mentioned last week that Glu was gearing up to release the sequel to Eternity Warriors onto Android soon and now we have an official date as long as everything goes well. We also get to see what Eternity Warriors 2 actually looks like as well.

We have talked about HTML5 in the past a few times and the fact that you can play HTML5 games right on your mobile device without the need for really anything but your browser. Well in a similar fashion to Kongregate, Gamorlive is a portal that has multiplayer HTML5 anyone can play on their Android device.
A new indie development studio has released their first game onto Android called Cube Defender. Developed by Park Posse Games, this little dual-stick action shooter blends a little of the old with a little of the new to create a pretty interesting looking game.
FarSight Studios has opened up another Kickstarter campaign in order to bring the Star Trek: The Next Generation pinball table to their pinball platform which is available on numerous gaming platforms including Android. Recently they had a successful campaign to bring the Twilight Zone table over and the extra money that campaign raised is being put towards this one.
Shogun Arts has released their second title onto Google Play, this time featuring an Origami theme to it as you play as a paper crane and other creatures. Volplane Crane, as it is called, has you trying to fling your paper crane as far as you can, collecting cherry blossoms along the way to earn extra points.
Popcap Games has gone ahead and sent out the official word that a sequel to their hit tower defense style game called Plants vs Zombies is in the works and will be arriving in late 2013. Whether it will simply be called Plants vs Zombies 2 or something else remains to be seen, PopCap is promising a ‘bevy of new features’ will come with the game.
Since Halfbrick Studios mentioned they were making a game called Machine Gun Jetpack, which later was changed to Jetpack Joyride, we have been telling our readers that it would be coming to Android at some point. We knew it would be arriving, we just didn’t know exactly when. Well after a rather long wait, Jetpack Joyride is finally here.
Sega just released a post on their official blog reminding everyone that their hit Dreamcast game, Jet Set Radio, is still heading to iOS and Android this Summer. For those of you who missed our initial posting about this game coming to mobile, this will be a mobile optimized version of the game but the version that will hit the PS3 this September.
One of the two Shadowrun games that are coming our way soon, both having had successful Kickstarter campaigns, is Shadowrun Returns. This particular game will be more of a single-player title, although co-op play will more than likely arrive when it is launched, while Shadowrun Online is a straight up MMORPG.

While the title may seem a bit sarcastic, or humorous depending on your sense of humor, no doubt a lot of people have been following what has been going on with OnLive over the past few days since rumors began that the company would suddenly be closing its door to massive lay-offs and it being bought out. Since late Friday, after all the dust settled, we knew more about the situation and the impending buy-out of the game streaming service.
