Puzzle & Dragons from GungHo Entertainment gets a lot of collaborations (Rovio, Hello Kitty, etc), which is when another game and its characters show up in this game. The newest one happens to be with Square Enix and their Final Fantasy games. Yes, this means the entire franchise and not just one game in it.
gumi inc. will be hosting a Halloween event within their Wakfu Raider’s game that begins today and runs for the next few weeks. The Halloween event in question will have everything in the game decorated in the spirit of Halloween, and this includes all the dungeons as well.
Mobile gaming is really strictly mobile anymore these days. With programs like Bluestacks (and others) or services like Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand, and GameStream, you can pretty much play Android games on any platform you want, besides consoles, as well as playing other platform’s games on Android. It’s Friday and therefor time for another Android game sale round-up. This week there’s a good amount of new faces on the list while there also happens to be plenty of repeats as well. There are some pretty solid games available on sale including Lara Croft GO which isn’t even labeled as on sale but did see a price drop.
Compass Games has released their first title onto Android called Oraia Rift. This particular game is a mix of action, RPG, and puzzle gameplay all wrapped up in 3D visuals and story-driven content. Compass Games is actually just a one-man studio, so all of this was done by this one person.
Noodlecake Games has begun teasing another upcoming game, this time called The Balloons. The company has released a new teaser cinematic trailer for their upcoming game that folks get to check out. Unfortunately, there isn’t a whole lot of details available about this game as of yet.
We have covered Spacetime Studios upcoming mobile MOBA game titled Call of Champions a few times since it was originally announced. Recently the iOS version launched and now the Android version is almost ready to go as well. However, until the game’s launch, anyone interested in playing it now can sign up for the Android beta.
A rather beautiful, minimalistic game called Prune will finally be making its way to Android next week. This game won Best Upcoming Games at the 11th IMGA (International Mobile Gaming Awards) and was also runner-up at the IndiePlus 2015. Awards aside, Prune is a really unique looking game with a pretty interesting concept.
This week’s new game for Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand service for Shield devices is a game called Sniper Elite V2. As you are probably guessing from the title, this is a sniper game. This particular sniper game takes place during World War II where you will be taking control of elite US sniper Karl Fairburne.
Angry Employees, it’s not a new game from Rovio, although it is something Rovio has created. Today the company has announced that they are downsizing their workforce, and will be letting go roughly a third of their staff who will soon be needing to find new jobs. In total that is 213 people who will be leaving Rovio.
