With Christmas and New Years over for 2015, and being a few days into a fresh new year, this can only mean one thing and that is its time for CES 2016. Like always we will be there, checking out all the latest and greatest in regards to Android, whether it be a bunch of new devices, new peripherals, or whatever else you can think of. There’s always something good for Android gamers at CES.
A decent-sized part of all the Android games currently being on sale for the holidays comes from Google Play’s own year end sale they have been holding. That sale has 27 games in total that have been reduced in price by up to 90% off. While our round-up of Android games on sale is big, 27 titles is a good chunk of that list.
It’s time for another DroidGamers Deals, and this time it is a double listing with a ScreenStick Joystick for mobile gaming, and a new Unity 5 Game Development bundle on sale. These bundles for game development have been quite good so far and this one is pretty solid as well.
If you’re planning to snag an Oculus Rift headset when they officially go on sale soon, you will be happy to know that it will be coming with a couple of goodies. The newest addition to the catalog of goodies is a game called Lucky’s Tale, which will come free when you purchase a headset.
To say that 2015 went by fast would be an understatement. This year flew by at a blazing speed and it is still weird to sit and think that it is coming to a close in a day or so (depending on where you live). In the world of mobile gaming, a lot has happened in 2015. Virtual Reality has made a major comeback, there has been a lot of great mobile games released, and the industry as a whole is a lot stronger. Nintendo finally decided to get into the mobile game industry as well this year.
Another platform geared towards pre-launch registrations for Android games is now available on Google Play called EXP Game. Similar to Prelaunch.me, EXP Game allows users to browse through a variety of games that are currently in pre-registration status before it officially launches on Google Play.
Even though Christmas is over, the holiday season is not. This means that there are still plenty of Android games on sale right now that you can snag copies of, download, and fill up the storage on that new Android device of yours. There are some really great games to be had right now for discounted prices.
Over the Christmas break Softmax decided to globally launch their popular beat ’em up style game called TrainCrasher. Originally released over in Korea, and possibly other Asian markets, this game received an English version that was soft launched back in November of this year. Now anyone can snag a copy of this anime themed arcade game off of Google Play.
If for some reason you didn’t snag a Shield Android TV during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or for Christmas, then you still have an opportunity to grab one on sale from Gamestop for a limited time. Their sale features the unit itself, along with the free remote promotion, and a free game as well.
CatfishBlues Games released a racing game earlier this month called Rocket Racer. After only being out for a couple of weeks, the developers have pushed out a new update that brings with it a couple of much needed features, namely Android TV support and hardware controller support.
