The latest installment into our Level Up franchise is actually an episode of a sub-series that runs under the Level Up name called Gamecrap. This is where one game is selected as the topic usually, instead of a general video game related topic like in regular Level Up episodes, and is critiqued in a gentle manner. While the game may not necessarily be on Android for each of these Gamecrap episodes, the point behind what is being said can be applied to any platform of video gaming.

Google has decided to make giving a Chromecast as a present a little bit of a sweeter gift by making a bunch of new games available for it. The announcement from Google today outlines quite a few titles having been added to the Chromecast roaster, a lot of which are board games from Hasbro.
Telltale Games has released the fourth episode in their Minecraft: Story Mode series, which means there is just one more episode left before the story comes to a close. In case you missed our previous coverage about this episode, titled A Block and a Hard Place, this brings the Wither Storm portion of the story to a close.
Released back in May of this year on Android, and currently available on multiple platforms including the PS4, Kung Fury: Street Rage has just received a pretty big update for all version of the game. If you’re not familiar with this game, Kung Fury is a throwback to the old school brawler games where you walk down city street and beat the crap out of your enemies, or shoot them, whatever works for you.

With Christmas only a few days away, a lot of developers have put their games on sale over on Google Play. Companies like Beamdog have put up their Baldur’s Gate series, Coffee Stain Games with their Goat Simulator series, and a lot of indie developers, all have their games on sale right now. This is a good time to pick up games you’ve been wanting to get.
Anshar Wars 2 is the newest addition to the Anshar Wars series of games for virtual reality headsets, in particular the Samsung Gear VR for this release. For those of you not familiar with this game, essentially this is an aerial combat game that takes place in space. You get to choose one of the three available ship options when you start, then you’re off to complete objectives and missions.
Joycity’s Monopoly style board game called Game of Dice has received a Christmas themed update that brings with it a bunch of new content. For those of you not familiar with this game, the best way to describe it is monopoly with real-time multiplayer blended with TCG mechanics, and a few RPG elements for good measure.
Razer’s Cortex game store gets overhauled, now features all the Android games from the Ouya buy-out and a new design
Razer has announced that their Cortex store is in its new and improved form as of today. The Cortex store features all of the Android games that Razer took on from their purchase of the now defunct Ouya marketplace as well. Not all of the games made it from the Ouya marketplace, but most of them did.
Indie developer Dani Shalash has released his first game onto Android the other day called Mean Spheres Attack. This game has players taking on some rather aggressive spheres using a variety of weaponry, all done in a sort of comic-y cel shaded visual style for the graphics.
Last week we reported on Nvidia who had begun teasing some features for the upcoming Marshmallow (Android 6.0) update for the company’s recently released Shield K1 tablet. Well today that update has begun rolling out to owners of the K1 tablet, which means we can now see the full changelog.
