If you’ve ever played the classic version of Asteroids, you’re already wise to most of what Spin Commander’s gameplay is like. Players control an arrow in the middle of the screen, similar to an encircled triangle, and need to dispatch the various objects that will cause it harm.

Just released by Lexica Games, the Paris Dossier is a black and white, noir style mystery. Set in occupied France, players assume the role of a British spy named Artemis, and are tasked with meeting up with the French resistance in Paris.
For fans of top down, tactical, squad based shooters, there will be another entry to Android’s growing list. Currently dubbed “Project CQB” (per the dev’s website, that’s only a place holding title), this game is where players control a squad of three units, and will face off against a squad of the same size, with each side attempting to killing off the others.
11 bit studios has released a series of of reversed tower defense games, all under the moniker of Anomaly. For the uninitiated, this franchise take the classic idea of tower defense (where players set up defenses such as laser turrets to stave off waves of enemies from passing by), and reverse it, where it’s up to players to be the “invading force” and make succeed in getting units from their battalion past the defenses.
Warhammer 40K: Regicide Early Access on Steam begins May 5th. Launching on Android later this year.

The story centers around a group of Space Marines sent to investigate an unusual video transmission that originated from an imperiled frontier world called Hethgar Prime. Early Access for Warhammer 40K: Regicide will be starting soon for the PC version.
Released by Brutal Studio, Stick Squad is an action game that stars a pair of stick figures (Ron and Damien, to be precise) as a two person team, that’s a veritable hit squad. The series tends to focus on shooting other stick figures from a FPS perspective, though it looks more like sniping than anything else.
Released by indie developers from Vancouver, Kaiju-a-go-go is a game where players use a 100 foot tall robotic monster, and attempt world domination. Players assume the role of Norman E. Farious (N.E.Farious) who is the mad scientist that created the monster, aptly named Ginormasaurus.
Frontline Commando: WW2 is Glu’s latest installment in the Frontline Commando series, and is the sequel to Frontline Commando: D-Day. In this game, players participate in the battle for Europe. There are a few different theaters of war within the game, including Belgium, Italy, and Germany, in the hopes of pushing all the way to Berlin with the Allied forces.
In Sweet Sins, players are looking to escape the hell of Dante’s Inferno. The characters within the game are the Seven Deadly Sins, anthropomorphized as cutesy, Kawaii-style girls. The entire game has that cutesy, Kawaii feel, so Sweet Escape is far from the macabre game that one might assume.
Chainsaw Warrior is a single-player tabletop game where players assume the role of the eponymous Chainsaw Warrior who sets out to save New York City from the zombie hordes that are controlled by Darkness, and does so within sixty minutes. This has since been converted to Android, and now its sequel has arrived, called Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night.
