Get a new fishing rod to commemorate the aliens who have arrived in Fisch! The Fisch Blade of Glorp rod has high stats and interesting passives. This guide explains everything you need to know, including its stats and obtainment.

Fisch Blade of Glorp – Stats
Let’s start with the stats the Blade of Glorp has. Overall, it’s a great rod, with extremely high luck stats.
- Lure Speed: 100%
- Luck: 888%
- Control: 0.05
- Resilience: 45%
- Max KG: Infinite
Passive Abilities
This rod comes with a few passive abilities. Firstly, there is a 23% chance of catching something with the Gleebous Mutation. This increases the value by 8x and turns the fish a neon green colour covered by floating green particles.
Also, every 2 seconds, there is a 20% chance that a laser will strike after 2 warning pulses. If this happens, after the laser, there will be -66% control for 0.3 seconds. It will also set the progress gain/loss rate to 0.25% per frame for 0.3 seconds. Lastly, if the fish doesn’t leave the bar during those 0.3 seconds, it gains +10% progress.
How to Obtain
You get the Blade of Glorp as a reward when completing Glorp’s Quest. Our guide linked above goes into more detail, but I’ll give you the short and sweet version below.
First, speak to Glorp in Roslit Bay. You won’t be able to understand them, so you need to head to Dr. Crookspine in The Laboratory and complete his quests.
- Catch and return something with the Gleebous mutation.
Now, speak to him for the second quest.
- Return a Device Display
- Return a Translator Core
- Return a Communication Circuit
After you do this, speak to Glorp, and they will ask you to catch 15 fish with the Gleebous mutation. Once you do this, you will obtain the Blade of Glorp rod and Glorp’s Saucer Boat.
