Glorp gleep neep norp, there’s a lot of alien content going on in Fisch! I’ll explain how to get the Gleebous Mutation in Fisch and why you need to catch something that has it.
Fisch is available to play on Roblox. For more on Glorb, check out our Fisch Blade of Glorp guide and our How To Get The Fisch Translator guide.
How to Get The Gleebous Mutation in Fisch
There are two ways to catch something with this mutation…
Blade of Glorp
While fishing using the Blade of Glorp, you have a 23% chance to catch something that has the Gleebous Mutation. Those are some good odds! Especially compared to the other method, which I’ll exlain later.
We already have a Fisch Glorp Quest guide that explains how to obtain the Blade of Glorp rod. But in short, you need to complete the Glorp Quest. First, you need to speak to Glorp, then head to Dr. Crookspine and complete his quests. Once you finish those, speak to Glorp, complete that quest, and you’ll get the rod!
Roslit Bay
The second way you can catch something with the Gleebous mutation is by fishing in the waters of Roslit Bay. However, with this method, you only have a 1.48% chance, which is very slim compared to that 23% chance using the Blade of Glorp.
Why Do You Need The Gleebous Mutation?
When completing Dr. Crookspine’s quest, which is part of Glorp’s quest, he will ask you to catch something with the Gleebous mutation and return it to him. At this point, it’s impossible to have the Blade of Glorp, so all you can do is keep fishing in Roslit until you’re lucky.
Once you move on to Glorp’s quest, you need to catch 15 fish with the Gleebous mutation. Again, you won’t have the Blade of Glorp at this point, so it’s back to Roslit Bay!
What Does The Gleebous Mutation Do?
If you catch something that has the Gleebous mutation, the value of that fish will increase by 8x more than the original value. The fish will turn a neon green colour and be surrounded by floating green particles. Unlike many of the other mutations available, you can’t get it through appraisal.
