BattleLore: Command from Fantasy Flight Games arrives onto Google Play

BattleLore: Command from Fantasy Flight Games is a new tactical strategy game based off of the board game called BattleLore Second Edition. This turn-based combat game puts players in control of their own army which they will use to defeat enemy armies that invade your homeland, in this case it happens to be the Uthuk Y’llan– demon-blooded barbarians who enjoy spreading chaos and destruction wherever they go.

BattleLore: Command features both a single-player campaign mode and a Skirmish Mode. In the single-player campaign, players will be following the storyline where they will be leading the Daqan army in defense of their homeland from the Uthuk Y’llan hordes. In the Skirmish Mode, the storyline is put aside and it is a straight up turn-based strategy battle against either a computer controlled opponent or another actual player.

BattleLore: Command Features:

– Muster armies suited to the mission at hand and support your strengths as a commander. Deploy them strategically and order them unit by unit.
– Use the 360º view with zooming capabilities to see the battlefield from any vantage point.
– Lore powers give each army unique tactical and magical advantages you can use to surprise the enemy and turn the tide of battle.
– Take charge of the Daqan army in a multi-mission single-player campaign to vanquish the Uthuk Y’llan and save Terrinoth.
– Choose from five different skirmish scenarios and order either the Daqan Lords or Uthuk Y’llan in battles against a friend via local LAN multiplayer or against the CPU.

One thing to note before downloading this game, the developers have mentioned that BattleLore: Command is heavy in the visual department. Basically the game was designed for new Android devices which have the processing power to handle these visuals. If you are not sure if your device can handle this, Fantasy Flight Games have drafted a list of devices you can check against to see if yours is okay to run this game.

With that said, if you are looking to download BattleLore: Command, you can do so off of Google Play for $9.99 and no, there are no IAPs in this game at all.
