Remote Play with the PlayStation 4 is now possible with non-rooted Android devices 4.2 and higher.
Originally only on the PlayStation Vita, Remote Play was added to Sony smartphones and tablets a few months ago. With a root, users were able to figure out how use it on non-Sony devices. It is now possible without a root, and you can find the information and the APK needed here.
With Remote Play, you can play PS4 games on your android devices. Of course you need a PS4 too do it, as it works by streaming the PS4 screen onto your devices screen. I was able to try this out with the NVIDIA Shield Portable and it does work.
