Glu Mobile has been releasing a lot of games lately and here is another one on the horizon called Death Dome which they are now starting to promote with the release of a trailer. This game is a hack n’ slash titles sporting some rather nice looking 3D visuals and gameplay similar to that found in Infinity Blade while the overall theme of the game seems like something out of Mad Max.
Death Dome centers around a world where a virus, called the M Virus, has infected mankind and while most people die from it, others end up mutating, becoming rather vicious monsters. These monsters are what you will be fighting in head-to-head style combat, dodging and parrying attacks while dishing out several of your own moves. These mutants are quarantined in an area that is refereed to as the Death Dome. Your job is to kill these monsters so that your city can be safe once again since the monsters are becoming increasingly stronger as time passes and it is only a matter of time before they break out.
As you progress through the game you will be able to learn new skills and abilities which you can use to take down even bigger mutants. You’ll be able to find new gear in the ruins of your city and inside the dome to help you out as well as the ability to use elemental-based attacks to take advantages of weakness some of these mutants have.
So when can you get a hold of this rather good looking game? As of right now we only know that it is ‘coming soon’ to both Android and iOS. Since this is a Glu Mobile title, it will be free-to-play and come with in-game purchases for better gear.
