Rovio has announced today that the company will only be laying off 110 employees instead of the 130 tht they had originally announced. While some may find this a bit surprising, considering how successful Rovio has been for their first 5-6 years. Some would say the company is still pretty successful and in a lot of ways it is.

[Update: Now Premium Priced] The Sleeping Prince: Royal Edition – A Precise Platformer with a Nimble Prince
Every once in a while, a completely refreshing game lands in the Play Store. The key word in the previous sentence is lands. Primarily because that is what the main character, The Sleeping Prince, accomplishes in the game. He ends up landing on platforms, beds, bouncing plants, and a cadre of other places to help his kingdom. With excellent ragdoll physics, Signal Studios, the game developer, with partner Tilting Point, have created a lush world for this puzzle/platformer to succeed in many ways. The Sleeping Prince is now available to download in the Play Store and the Amazon App Store, and it shouldn’t be missed.
OverVolt is a fairly successful slot car racing game on Window Phone right now and the developers have been working on porting it over to Android since its release. Now it is close to being finished and is planned for release onto Google Play by the end of November.
A rather high rated and popular puzzle game on iOS has finally made its way to Android devices today. This game is called RGB Express and while visually it may look like a pretty simplistic game, spending about 10-15 minutes playing it will prove the exact opposite.

Gamevil has announced a couple of different bits of news, both of which will be arriving this Thursday, December 4th, 2014. This Thursday is turning out to be pretty big in terms of releases with some major titles already slated for launch on that day. We can add a couple of more things that will be arriving on Thursday thanks to Gamevil who have announced that a content update will be arriving for Darkness Reborn as well as the launch of a new game called Elune Saga.
