A new action defense game is heading our way this week called Lumberwhack: Defend the Wild where you will be playing as Koko Kornelius, a brave monkey out to defend his jungle type area from the evil people who want to cut down all the trees. You’ll have all the creatures in the jungle at your side, helping you defend against these human invaders.

Elite Systems in trouble for apparently not paying devs royalties and pirating ZX Spectrum games
We’ve been saying this almost all week and a part of last week as well, there is always fun times to be had in the gaming industry. You can thank King for the recent entertainment lately but now Elite Systems is in the spotlight as well but for a whole different matter.
Well it is that time again for another round-up of Android games on sale this weekend. There is actually not a huge difference between this week’s mid-week round-up and this one besides a few additions to the list like the Construction Simulator 2014 and Hot Springs Story.
One of the most anticipated sim games last year, called Star Command, is now available for free for the next 24 hours. This is, of course, if you happen to have access to Amazon’s AppStore which, since the company’s expansion to other countries has happened, should mean a lot of you can take advantage of this deal.
Ouya teased not too long ago that it would be releasing an improved version of their original Android-powered game console in the near future. This is not the Ouya 2 or any sort of next-gen version of the console but just an enhanced version of the original with some improvement to storage space, the controller and other features.

Nintendo, a very confused looking company, confirms now it will make Apps and maybe games for mobile
Nintendo is looking mighty confused these past few days it seems with regards to what it wants to do with mobile devices. First, awhile ago, Nintendo adamantly stated that it wouldn’t be bringing games to mobile platforms. The a rumor popped up that it would be making mini-games for mobile but that was squashed almost immediately by Nintendo in a statement. Now it is confirmed that there is a plan for mobile devices with the company after all.

A new space exploration and survival game called Out There is heading to Android soon and is actually up for pre-order through Humble Bundle. This game is currently in the late stages of beta testing and pre-ordering a copy will grant you immediate access to the beta ahead of everyone else. However, you could also win a copy of Out There and get into the beta without paying a penny.
Yesterday Google posted a video about a few games they made to entice developers to make more games for their Google Glass device. However the wearable technology has plenty of hurdles that are starting to creep up and the newest ones are states here in the USA banned the device for a few reasons.
Tin Man Games have started making sequels to some of their existing interactive RPG books and the newest one, which they have been teasing over the last couple of week and which is why Slaves of Rema has been on sale lately, is called the Sultans of Rema. This also marks the ninth Gameboo Adventures release, inching the company closer to the milestone of ten original Gamebook releases onto Android.
