Carbon Games is gearing up to release their free-to-play cross-platform multiplayer Action-RTS game onto mobile soon called AirMech. Slated for a mobile release sometime after Summer of this year, AirMech is currently sitting in Alpha status for the PC/browser version which is actually slated for release in a beta form this Summer as well.

As you may know already from us talking about the Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter project, this game will be coming to PC, Android and iOS tablets when it is released thanks to the initial $400,000 in successful funding. Topping over the $700k mark right now, new features have been announced along with a new set of features that will be added if the Kickstarter project breaks the $1 million mark.
More and more console games are starting to make their way to mobile for both iOS and Android. Another title has been announced that will be making the jump from the Playstation 3 over to iOS and Android is Joe Danger from Hello Games.
We have talked about nVidia’s next generation of the Tegra series of chipsets a few times already and now we have a leaked roadmap of when we can expect to see the Tegra 4 to land in Android device. Along with that, we also now know that it will be sporting the same 4-plus-1 quad-core structure with ARM Cortex A15s instead of A9s.
A new tunnel-based shooter has been released onto Android today called Final Space by AB Interactive. Wrapped up in some nice 3D visuals, you will be controlling an X-wing style space ship as you fly through warp-like tunnels in space, shooting up everything in your path.
When Grand Theft Auto III was released onto Android, at around the same time Max Payne was also announced for mobile but with no specific platforms being named. A lot of guesses were rolling around that it would be iOS only until we confirmed it would be coming to Android. Well Rockstar Games has now officially done so publicly with a release date.
Earlier this week, Google publicly revealed a potentially revolutionary product it’s currently calling Project Glass. Project Glass is a pair of augmented reality glasses that displays tons of information above your eye. It basically performs many of the functions of a smartphone such as displaying text messages, taking photos and engaging in video calls.
At the end of March, some Android users noticed the Google Play app was having some issues. In some cases, Google Play would not display the apps they paid for. Google Play also started to force close more than usual. Although these bugs weren’t experienced by everyone, Google still rolled out an update to Google Play to resolve these issues.
Good news everyone! You no longer need to hack your Nexus S 4G to get Ice Cream Sandwich. Sprint has begun pushing the update to handsets as I write this. Check your phone to see if there’s an update notification trying to get your attention. You can also manually check for the update from the settings menu.
There is a new physics-based puzzle game on the horizon that will be coming our way very soon. Developed by IT-EO Team, Galaxy Pool is a blend of physics-based puzzler and actual pool but instead of controlling the ball you actually control the walls on which the ball bounces off of.
