[PAX East 2015] Drome Makes Palindromes Into a Game

A new puzzle game for mobile devices called Drome is set for a release on Android later this spring.

The title Drome refers to a palindrome, which is when a word or pattern is the same backwards and forwards. Developed by Asinine Games, puzzles come in the form of patterns of shapes. Shapes are then moved around, by swapping two at a time. Puzzles become more complicated as they grow in size and as shapes with different effects are thrown into the mix.

While I only had a limited amount of time with Drome, this looks like one of those games that seems simple on the outset but becomes hard to put down. Like a Rubik’s Cube, but in an app.
