Wii-like Motion Tennis Cast is now out for Android

Rolocule Games has announced that they have released a new Android game, called Motion Tennis Cast. This game looks like it would play much like the tennis game within Wii Sports would, as it uses motion to control what’s happening. The major difference though is in hardware, where players would only need “screens like HDTV, Smart TV or a web browser using screen cast software – Chromecast, Miracast  or AllShareCast.”. The trailer demos how it works, which is basically to open the game, cast it, and you’re off to playing virtual tennis, swinging your phone as if it were a tennis racket, while seeing the game get played in a PC browser or TV.

The game includes some of the various tennis strokes, such as Normal, Slice, and Lob, as well as three different types of court, four levels of difficulty for the AI opponent, and the ability to play online against other people that you may know through Google Plus or Facebook. Achievements are through Google Play.

Tennis Motion Cast Features:

Swing like a Champion: Get the real feel of Tennis sport as you swing real forehands and backhands by swinging your Android Smartphone and taking control of your player on TV.
Hitting glory: Hit multiple shots like the groundstroke, slice and lob, and simultaneously give accurate direction to the ball, just like in real Tennis sport
Get Fit: Get an approximate count of calories burnt with each match and track total calories burnt – fitness is now fun with Motion Tennis Cast
Become a pro: Choose between Grass, Clay or Synthetic courts along with four difficulty levels to become a game pro
Time Attack Mode: Challenge players all around the world. With your scores, you can even compete in online leader boards in the “Time Attack” mode.
Other features: Multiple Google Play achievements, beautifully designed second screen support, dynamic cameras for more immersive user experience and more

In a future update, the developers will include Android Wear as supported devices, making it unnecessary to swing your phone around while playing the game. Motion Tennis Cast also tracks the approximate amount of calories burnt during each game session which is great if you are keeping track of that sort of thing. Motion Tennis Cast is available now for free on Google Play and does contain optional IAPs.
