While keeping in the spirit of all things dice related, there is another new game available on the Android market. Dice Wars Online, developed by Eingrad, is a MMO Risk style game using dice. With up to 5 players on a map, your goal is to conquer the entire map just like in Risk, using dice as your weapons and troops. You can also level yourself up to Level 50.
Most people have played the pig dice game or a variant of it. Well now you can play it on your Android phone with a game called Cow Craps, developed by WB Games. In Cow Craps you roll your two cow ‘dice’ and depending on how they land you gain points and the first to 100 points or over wins. This game also features the ability to play against another person.
Here is another addictive little time killer called Bistro Cook, developed by Quasar Studios. While not an overly complicated game to play, it’s actually fairly addictive once you start getting into it. In this game your goal is to cook and fill orders as fast as you can but also making sure you don’t burn them in the process which is easier said then done.
Pitman, released by Alawar Entertainment, is a gem miner style game where you control a mining/harvester machine to dig around every stage and collect as much of the gems and gold you find without dieing. While the concept is nothing new for the most part, the execution is fairly well done with original graphics and sounds throughout the game.
It seems as though noted emulator guru ZodTTD has teamed up with Yonghz (Android emulator guru) and are currently working on a Playstation emulator for Android phones. Yes, a playstation emulator. This means all those games you loved to play when the Playstation was the best there was out you can now play on your Android phone. FFVII anyone?
Usually I don’t go for the typing word games unless they look extremely good. Typing Zombies, developed by GoodTEAM Lab, actually caught my attention because of the name. Anything with zombies in the name always attracts my attention. With this game, you are presented with zombies who want to eat your brains and to destroy them you have to type the word above their heads.
Slot Maniac may not be the best example of a virtual world when you look at others such as SecondLife, nor as graphically beautiful, but the premise is still the same. Like your slot machines? Well now with Slot Maniac, developed by Fun Durian Entertainment, you can be a professional slit machine player. The games are limited to just slot machines though!
Barcode Beasties has been around for almost as long as the Android market has been. Developed by Richard Green, Barcode Beasties offers up a Pokemon battle style game where you find monsters of various levels with different abilities by scanning QR Codes on whatever products you have around and pitting them against one another.
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later with the onslaught of tablets coming to light with Android on them. Hard Kernel, who developed the ODROID, has now developed the ODROID-T. This is a tablet designed with high definition video and gaming in mind. The original ODROID was a PSP looking device running Android 1.6 (upgraded to 2.1) and seemingly sold out quickly.
