Well not only a couple hours after we post about Tegra 3 possibly being announced at MWC 2011, it gets confirmed, displayed and shown off in a working Android device. nVidia also let loose their roadmap for future which, in 2 1/2 years time, nVidia plans to have a chip out that is 75x faster than the Tegra 2.
With the announcement of the Qualcomm/ARM quad-core chip at MWC 2011, it is looking like the processor battle is starting to hear up. Hot on the heels of that announcement, nVidia is apparently set to unveil the Tegra 3 chip tomorrow during MWC 2011 as well and thanks to that leaked timeline, we know so specs already.
Luckily for all our readers we keep getting more and more news regarding the Xperia Play and judging by how it is going so far, this little Android gaming device is going to have some serious backing in the gaming department. With over 50 games slated for release at launch time, there is going to be quite the selection to choose from.
Awhile ago we reported on the rumor that games for the Xperia Play would be priced at the $10 or lower mark and recent news seems to be supporting this fact. Galaxy of Fire 2 is slated for release on the Xperia Play at launch and will be priced at $9.99. Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave will also be ‘under $10’.

HTC announced their upcoming Android tablet, the HTC Flyer, at MWC today and it was sporting some pretty decent specs while others left you wondering “why?”. The HTC Flyer is also their first Android device sporting the OnLive cloud gaming service which is no surprise after their $40 million invest into the company.

I’m sure everyone was ready for the onslaught of Xperia Play news that was going to happen once the official announcement was made yesterday so here is yet another article about the Xperia Play. While we didn’t think that this would be possible right off the jump or even at all, it is always good to get confirmation on these things. When it comes to the Xperia Play, anything you’ve bought or will buy on the Playstation Network, will not be transferable to the Xperia Play. This includes any retro Playstation One games.
