Currently in closed beta testing stages, there is an Action-RPG title coming to Android, iOS and your browser called Nyrthos from developers BeerDeer Games. This games has some highly detailed 2D graphics that are reminiscent of some of the older Action-RPG titles like Diablo 2.
Once in awhile we tend to take a look at the deals over at Amazon’s App Store that they do each week. Some weeks are rather good while others are alright. This week there seems to be not as many games on sale but the ones that are discounted are pretty good ones.
In similar Monster Hunter news, a Japanese game developer called Asobimo is currently developing a four-player co-op action RPG for Android called Frontier Gunner. The reason why this is following as more Monster Hunter related news is because the game looks like it was developed for fans the Monster Hunter series.
A possible second Monster Hunter title looks to be coming to Android on the Mobage platform from Capcom this February. Titled Monster Hunter with Everyone: Card Master, this will be a social multiplayer card battle game for smartphones.
Not to be completely confused with the Truffle Shuffle from the Goonies, Truffula Shuffula is a match-3 game featuring the Lorax from Dr. Seuss. While at its core it is just a match-3 style puzzle game, it does have some decent graphics and is completely themed around Dr. Seuss and the Lorax.
Team6 has announced that they are bringing a version of their PC racing game FlatOut exclusively to Android. This addition to the FlatOut racing series will be called FlatOut-Stuntman and will be heading to Android Tegra-based devices soon.
For those of you who enjoy endless running type of games, there is a new one on the Android Market called RunnersHigh. This has you take control of a dinosaur who happens to have a stick with a steak tied to it, dangle in front of him to keep him running.
One of MiniClips’ more popular games has finally made its way to Android. Fragger has already enjoy some pretty good success not only on the MiniClips’ website but also on iOS. The Android version has launched exclusively (for right now anyway) on GetJar and is currently free.
Yesterday we wrote about Capcom announcing Ace Attorney 5 which is pretty awesome itself. We also mentioned, which is actually the better news, that Capcom would be bringing Ace Attorney 1, 2 and 3 to Android and iOS soon to in a nice HD upgrade.
A few days back we showed you a nifty little game that lets you play the popular first-person shooter, Counter Strike. XDA developers Pavel M’s and FrIuNs port, CS Portable, allows up to 500 players and even features cross platform compatibility so Android players can frag and shoot at their PC counterparts.
