It’s Friday which means it is time once again for our end of the week Android game sale round-up. This week’s round-up is about half and half when it comes to new games being on the list, and repeats from last week. Some of the new titles making an appearance include both Doom & Destiny games, both Oddworld games, Auro, and more.

Bandai Namco has officially released their latest game onto mobile platforms called Fortress Legends. This particular game is a hybrid title, mixing real-time co-op multiplayer hack n’ slash gameplay with strategy and defense mechanics. So not only will you be building your own fortress, you will be invading other players’ fortresses as well.

Hibernum is a game development studio and much more. Located near the intersecting streets of Rue de Bleury and West Sainte-Catherine Street, you will find the creators of Magic: The Gathering Puzzle Quest, Bruce Lee: Enter the Game, and the soon to be released action-puzzle game, Saber’s Edge. DroidGamers had the opportunity to go behind the scenes to find out a bit more about Hibernum’s genesis and future plans. Frederick Faubert, President and Creative Director and Louis-Rene Auclair, Chief Brand Officer were kind enough to answer a few questions so that we could learn more.
Mobile gaming has been getting more and more advanced over the years, with games getting bigger, more in-depth, with multiplayer features and high-end visuals. Some are pretty much on point with PC and console games in most of those categories. So it isn’t surprising to find out that there is a video going around now of a very highly-detailed futuristic game being played on mobile. More to the point, it looks a lot like Destiny.
Snail Games has pushed out a new update for their newest Taichi Panda game called Taichi Panda Heroes. This update, officially titles Factions Showdown, brings with it two new playable heroes for players to unlock and level up, new PvP content, as well as other new co-op content to get through.
Suicide Squad’s official movie has finally been released into theaters today, and with that there also happens to be an update for at least one game where members of the Suicide Squad will be appearing, and that is Injustice: Gods Among Us. According to Warner Bros, this is the biggest update to hit the game in over a year.
Developers Scarlet City have announced that they have launched the second episode for their RPG called The Aetherlight: Chronicles of the Resistance with today’s new content update. Officially titled Episode 2: The Resistance Takes Flight, players can expect to find all new storylines and content to work their way through, all of which is still located within the original game’s Steampunk world.
[Game Released] Square Enix confirms a Western release for Mobius Final Fantasy, arriving August 3rd on Android
Mobius Final Fantasy is a game we reported on back in April 2015 when the game was originally revealed. At that time there was no confirmation on whether or not this game would see life over on Western shores. However, thanks to a new announcement trailer from Square Enix, we now have confirmation of a Western release which will be happening in August of this year.
Asobimo has been known more for their MMORPG releases on Android than anything else. However the company’s newest release still falls into the massively multiplayer category of games, except this time it is a MOBA-style RTS title instead of a full MMORPG like they usually release.
Albion Online has been in a number of closed beta testing phases over the past couple of years, and now the final beta testing phase has begun for Legendary Founders. Epic and Veteran Founders will also be gaining access to Albion Online this week, so have no fear if you don’t own a Legendary Founders pack.
