During Telltale Games’ panel at PAX West the company revealed a new series that would be coming to pretty much all platforms, except VR, called The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. This actually is a new season for the ongoing The Walking Dead series that Telltale Games has been doing.

Niantic has been working on the next update for their Pokemon GO game, and the update when it arrives will make leveling up a bit easier thanks to the new Buddy system they are planning to add to the game. The last update brought the Appraisal system, which basically has the leader of your faction informing you whether or not a particular Pokemon you are getting appraised is good or if it sucks.

This week’s list actually has a good amount of newcomers showing up, while also having a few repeats from the last round-up we did. There are some pretty decent indie games making their appearance this week as well.
Telltale Games announces the release dates for Episode 2 of their Batman series, except for mobile
Telltale Games has announced the release date for Episode 2 (called Children of Arkham) of their new Batman series, but only for PC and consoles. Why? Because we here on mobile platforms are still waiting for Episode 1 to arrive, which won’t even be happening until September 13th, 2016. The good news is that you will have a few days to play through episode 1 before the second episode arrives for PC and consoles.
[UPDATE: Expansion Released] Guild of Dungeoneering will be getting an expansion later this month called Pirates Cove
Guild of Dungeoneering was recently released onto Android by Versus Evil, with Gambrinous being the developers. Since the game’s release onto mobile, the developers have been working on bringing the first expansion, called Pirate’s Cove, to this version and it looks to be almost ready for release.
One of things that was fun about the board game Clue was that each time the game was played, a different murderer could guilty. In that vein, a new game has been released called A Matter of Murder. Players will assume the role of an invitee living in Victorian England, who’s set out to spend a weekend in a mansion along with other guests.
Released by Little Thingie, Pittsfield is an adventure that’s set in somewhat of an odd town. In this game, players will be assuming the role of Vina, who awakens within the strange town. To compound matters, her boyfriend has gone missing. As Vina embarks on her venture to find him other strange events begin to occur.
If you’re into Sci-Fi themed adventure games, there is a new one heading to mobile devices (and PC) soon called Space Rangers: Quest. This particular game actually falls more into the text-based style of adventure games that were pretty popular back in the day, but it also comes with RPG elements as well to bring it a little into the more modern times.
Help Alex solve a murder without getting killed in Lifeline: Crisis Line, now out on Google Play
Fans of the Lifeline franchise, where players are interacting with the game over messaging in something similar to real time, now have a new release to look forward to. 3 Minute Games’ newest release is known as Lifeline: Crisis Line. Here, players will be assuming the role of someone volunteering to an eponymous crisis help line.
Niantic has pushed out a new update for Pokemon GO that brings with it some interesting changes to the game. One of the bigger additions is that of a Pokemon Appraisal system for trainers to use. Besides that there are a few other tweaks to the game, as well as some bug fixes.
