What could very well be a rather large screw up by someone over at Sprint, it appears that they will be getting a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE version which will sport a rather beefy 1.5GHz chip stuffed inside of it. Usually when you get a new piece of technology or one that is updated at least in terms of software, you don’t expect to witness a regression in quality when it comes to playing games or using apps. Whether it is to use ROMs, develop them or whatever else you want to do with a rooted Transformer Prime, a locked bootloader which is encrypted makes things very difficult.
Since a plethora of people bought themselves a Kindle Fire recently and a lot of people have already rooted it, there is some more good news today for you. A developer has already managed to port Android 4.0 onto the Kindle Fire.
Glowball has been one of the two main showcase games for the upcoming Tegra 3 quad-core chipset, the other being Zen Pinball THD. Although the current version of Zen Pinball THD that is slated to come out this week is for Tegra 2 devices, the Glowball game is the first Tegra 3 title to make an appearance on the Tegra Zone app.
nVidia has released a new video showcasing Android’s latest OS, dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich (or Android 4.0 for those of you who dislike desserts), but instead of having it running on a prototype Tegra 3 quad-core tablet, they are showing it off on a production model of an Asus Transformer Prime.
Tuesday Afternoon Awesomeness: Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich gets some Nyan Cat Easter Egg goodness
Today we get to post some serious awesomeness and it’s Android related at the same time! Google is known for putting little Easter Eggs in each OS that comes out for Android and it seems Ice Cream Sandwich was hit as well. This time though it’s a pair of Nyan Cat themed Android goodness.
Sony Ericsson has posted a blog post confirming that the Xperia Play, along with other Xperia devices, will get an Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) update when it is ready to roll out for those devices. Currenty Sony Ericsson is working on merging Ice Cream Sandwich with their “Xperia experience”.

Developers who have been waiting for the Ice Cream Sandwich source code to be released may not have to wait much longer to get their hands on it. According to the CEO of Notion Ink, Rohan Shravan, the source code is planned for a release date of November 17th.
Lenovo has apparently had their upcoming Tegra 3 quad-core tablet specs leaked today and so far they are looking pretty serious in terms of power. This new Lenovo tablet will be running the latest version of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich and will be stuffed with a Tegra 3 quad-core chipset.
