While not the biggest update in the world, Rovio’s Angry Birds Space has just received an update that fixes a few bugs that was causing the game to crash on older Android devices. Aside from that though, it does bring some new levels along with the bug fixes.
Despite Nintendo’s insistence that mobile games are “cheap”, it is surprising to find that its lead franchise creator enjoys some Angry Birds. According to an interview with Edge, Shigeru Miyamoto, the mind behind classic franchise such as Legend of Zelda, Super Mario and a slew of other Nintendo series. has admitted that Angry Birds by Rovio was his favorite game of the past year.
For those that go where no man has gone before, internet wise, for free application and games, may want to reconsider. It seems that a version of Rovio’s newest hit, Angry Birds: Space, is laced with malware and found floating (no pun intended) around. If the copy of Angry Birds: Space currently installed in your device came from anywhere but Google Play, you may be putting yourself at risk.
Hot off their successful Angry Birds Space release a few weeks back, Rovio turned their head towards their OG older title. Over the weekend the company released an update called “Surf and Turf ” comprising of 15 brand spanking new beach inspired levels, just in time for the warmer weather.
Are you frustrated that even in space, those ugly green little pigs can still be as obnoxious as they were on earth? Sure you can finish a level and forever wipe those mocking grins off from under their snouts, but if you’re rewarded with less than three stars, the satisfaction is just not the same.
If you somehow missed the grand elephant that is the Angry Birds series, consider venturing out into public more often. Fortunately you can catch up with all the hub bub with Rovio’s newest release, Angry Birds Space. Apparently you won’t be alone.
While Angry Birds Space is more than likely consuming a large amount of your time right now, if you are an Angry Birds fan that is, Rovio hasn’t forgotten about any of their other Angry Birds games and they have pushed out an update for Angry Birds Rio.
As you probably already know, Angry Birds Space is now available for Android. This is the newest addition to the Angry Birds franchise from Rovio which takes the birds from Earth and plops them down in Space along with all the physics that apply to being in space.
The final details are starting to emerge about Rovio’s newest addition to the Angry Birds franchise since it is arrive tomorrow. We now know what time Angry Birds Space will start appearing, where and for how much once it begins its launch.
So being two days away from the actual release of Angry Birds Space and since Rovio announced it, they have done a pretty good job trying to hype the launch of this game up in various ways with new videos and birds, all kinds of things, except an official trailer. Well, now we have one.
