To many, a newly launched system isn’t complete without a great platformer. As Mario and Sonic have proven in their iconic games, nothing can challenge players of every level like a colorful, and surprisingly complex, platformer. Juju fills that niche rather well.

Every Tuesday the Nvidia GRID line-ups expands just a little bit, with a new title added each week. This week the new game on the playground is Sacred Citadel, a hack n’ slash action-adventure game that features both single-playerand co-op multiplayer gameplay, all of which takes place in the land of Ancaria.
Humble Bundle, known for the name-your-own-price for bundles of games and supporting charity while you’re at it, released Humble Mobile Bundle 13 back on the start of the month. When it started, this bundle had six games and now, a week later, more games have been added to it like usual.
Since we missed the end of last week’s Android game sale round-up, here is one for the beginning of this week instead. The good news about this is that there actually happens to be a decent amount of games on sale right now, with titles ranging from Sega’s Football Manager Handheld 2015 to UniWar and even a few Tin Man Games titles.
If you’re a fan of top-down arcade shooters, then you might want to check a new one that has arrived onto Google Play from FatStack Games. This new arcade game is called Galactus Space Shooter and just like the name suggests, this game takes place in space, with you manning a space fighter type of jet and plenty of enemies to shoot down.
Sonic Dash has had roughly two years of running and running on mobile devices, and now the game has sprinted right on passed the big 100 million downloads mark. To celebrate, there will be a new in-game event that will be starting soon that will be featuring some of Sonic’s friends as well as the blue hedgehog himself.
There is a new Oddworld game heading to mobile soon and this new mobile version of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is going to be used to basically help with the re-launch of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee for PC on Steam as well. Square One Games, the folks behind Oddworl: Stranger’s Wrath, will be making the mobile version of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, which is actually done already. It won’t be released just yet though, not until the revamping of the PC version is almost done.
[Update: Warship Released] JoyCity opens up pre-registration for two of their games – Warship Battles and Elemental Wings
JoyCity today has announced that pre-registration for two of their upcoming games are now live. Depending on the type of game you prefer, there is the company’s hybrid title Elemental Wings that now has pre-registration open for it, as well as the company’s upcoming sequel to their aerial combat game Gunship Battles which is called Warship Battles.
Skating and other extreme sports may feel left behind with Blink-182 and Total Request Live, but the genre merely needed to get back to basics to redefine itself. The future of skating isn’t about juvenile humor and guest appearances by the cast of Jackass. The NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV launch game OlliOlli cuts through all that, ditches a dimension, and focuses on what’s most important in a skateboard game: earning the most ludicrous combos you can via grinds and tricks. And it’s leading the way of a rebirth of extreme sports games.
[UPDATE: Game Released] Alpha Squadron 2: Edge of Oblivion will be landing on Android later this week
The rather fun 3D aerial space combat game Alpha Squadron will be getting a sequel this week called Edge Of Oblivion: Alpha Squadron 2. Developed once again by Martian Monkey Games, Alpha Squadron 2 will take players back into combat to fight off the evil Hadian Empire using different starfighters in aerial combat.
