World of Midgard MMORPG is currently under heavy development which, if you follow us at all, we have been covering fairly extensively. Well the second round of closed beta testing is now over and the third is starting up today. Those of you who, until now, haven’t gotten into the closed beta, check your emails, your invite might be there.

Well this certainly didn’t take long. We have actually known for awhile Valve was considering (read developing) and app for Android and after the recent one we posted about the unofficial Steam app for Android from IBF Programs, Valve has released an official application now.
Lonely Sock might not be a name you are familiar with and probably for good reason, they are fairly new. However new they may be though I’m guessing we are going to see some pretty good titles coming out way from the Lonely Sock considering the team of eight is made up of industry veterans, mostly from Disney Mobile and EA.
EA working on Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances MMORTS for mobile devices, closed beta sign-ups live.
The other day EA announced that it would be bringing Command & Conquer to mobile and browser gamers. However, it isn’t the standard format of C&C RTS gaming that you are used to as this will be the series’ first MMORTS title and will launch with cross-platform multiplayer functionality.
ngmoco will be releasing a new strategy game called DragonCraft onto Android soon and the beta sign-ups for this game have just gone live. You may remember our in-depth initial impressions after visiting the ngmoco offices last month to demo DragonCraft.
Yesterday we reported on Sega’s upcoming free-to-play RPG called Fallen Realms that would be entering into a limited Beta today. Well they were pretty much on time with that release, actually a bit early, as the Beta landed on the Android Market late last night.
Sega has teamed up with Papaya Mobile to bring their free-to-play RPG to Android called Fallen Realms. This is a more old school style RPG title that will feature a tapping control scheme instead of the usually virtual joystick so that you can just tap to go places instead of using the joystick.
Today Sony has begun accepting developer sign-ups for the beta version of their Playstation SDK. The SDK from Sony is to provide developers a more uniform platform in which to develop games for the PS Vita and Sony’s Android devices which include the Sony S and Sony P tablets, the Xperia play as well as future devices.
Last week we went over to the ngmoco offices over in San Francisco to take a look at two of their new games coming to Android soon. The first is an interesting new RPG title called Skyfall which is just launching as a beta starting today. We got to sit down and play this game last week and it’s pretty unique.
