It was a long time coming, but the game that won the award for most immersive game at OUYA’s GameJam competition last year, is finally being released to the public.
After a huge delay for Android devices, we have TellTale’s The Walking Dead season 1 on Google Play for all devices. Was the delay worth it though? Let’s have a look.
Whispering Willows is a game we’ve been following for some time now, from its original announcement to its Kickstarter funding and even when it was part of the Kill Screen CREATE competition for the Ouya console. Now it seems this game is finally getting closer to release as the developers have released a new trailer for it.
One of the early popular games for the Ouya console was Towerfall, a local multiplayer game where up to four people try to kill each other round after round. A new game that landed on Ouya yesterday brings us similar mechanics but this time with squacky little ducks and is appropriately named Duck Game.
As many of you may have noticed DroidGamers was down for roughly 34 hours starting Monday morning and ending with us coming back online late yesterday afternoon. Many of you are probably wondering what the hell happened but rest assured it was nothing bad, more like bad timing as we are preparing to open up the Mecha store.
As many of you have probably noticed, the Android-powered game console Ouya has been announcing a lot of exclusive titles over the past few months. While this is something that should have probably been happening when it originally was released, it’s better later than never right? The newest game announced as an exclusive for Ouya is actually already on PC via Steam Greenlight and is called Magnetic By Nature.
Hello readers of DroidGamers, I am Samir. I will be writing articles as much as possible around here, and I am very excited. Writing on a tech/gaming site has been a small dream of mine. I’m in high school, and I get loads of homework that is unfortunately more important than my role here. Every weekend, expect me to write a weekly wrap up of the Android gaming news in the world (I may also toss in some other significant tech news). If I have time during the week, I will write articles about anything going on just like I am now. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to follow me on Google+ at +Samir Shekhawat. Now, the new streaming box from Amazon.
As many of you know, Amazon a couple of days ago held a press conference and announced their new set top box called Fire TV. While there is plenty of news about this, there’s also a decent amount of gaming news regarding Fire TV. For starters, Gameloft has already begun optimizing their games for Amazon’s set top box.
There are plenty of Android-powered game consoles already out for consumers to get their hands on and another one up on Kickstarter called Equiso Play. This new one definitely has the potential to be a great product from what we’ve seen of it already.
