Hipster Whale have been pretty busy these days, with the recent release of Crossy Roads Disney and now the release of an update to their original Crossy Road title. This update brings with it a few optimizations and bug fixes, along with one major feature getting added to the game, which is multiplayer.

Crossy Road – or as I like to call it, Totally Not Frogger – hit the Play Store in 2014, amassing a player-base of more than 100 million people worldwide. Crossy Road developers Hipster Whale have now teamed up with Disney to bring you, Disney Crossy Road, which has left its soft launch period and it now available globally.
Bandai Namco and Hipster Whale recently teamed up to release Pac-Man 256 onto Android. Well now that game has invaded Hipster Whale’s original popular game Crossy Road with the game’s new update that has just arrived. Along with the pac-Man 256 love, it also seems like Monument Valley has also received some of the update love as well.

There are 8 new episodes already and this particular one features Harley Morenstein and Matthew Santoro battling it out for the highest score in Crossy Road.
It’s a rare event when the word Apple appears in a headline of ours. I mean we are an Android gaming website after all. However, during the Apple TV event currently going on, Hipster Whale previewed a new version of Crossy Road with a slightly new twist to it – multiplayer.
The recently released Hipster Whale / Bandai Namco game Pac-Man 256 has already broken the 5 million download mark which is impressive even still after such a short period of time. This number is for the game’s download on both Android and iOS, and it isn’t surprising either.
WeGo Interactive released a 3D arcade game called Cliffy Jump with features the same sort of isometric 3D visual styles as Crossy Road does. In fact there is a fair bit of inspiration found in Cliffy Jump that is largely thanks to Crossy Road, right down to the numerous characters you can find and play as. It is also just as addictive.
Crossy Road, the super-popular Frogger clone released by Yodo1, has released an update to their game. This update is incorporating an element of Korean pop culture into what’s available, by offering a mix of new characters that players can opt to control. The biggest (only?) name among the bunch is Psy, the artist that wrote the song Gangnam Style.
