It appears that one of the next big features to be heading to Minecraft: Pocket Edition will be potions or at least potion effects. The interesting part about all of this is the fact that even though potion effects were teased in a picture, it was also stated that as of right now no potions are actually in the pipeline because that requires the Nether.
Earthcore: Shattered Elements is an upcoming collectible card game that will be heading to Android in the near future. However, in the meantime, for those of you who enjoy beta testing games, the closed beta sign-ups for Earthcore have now gone live.
Gameloft will be releasing the third installment into the Brothers In Arms franchise next month and it will be a lot more different than what the previous two games were. It was almost a year ago that Brothers In Arms 3 was announced which also came with an early 2014 release time frame. Well that was back in December of 2013 when that happened and now we are heading into December of 2014 and Brothers In Arms 3 will be released during that month.
Hordemasters is an interesting sounding mesh of genres and it is apparently heading to mobile devices in the near future. Essentially this game is a third-person shooter but also incorporates RPG-elements and city-building mechanics into the mix. Rounding off everything is a cel-shaded look to the visuals.
Game development company The Ingenious Bastards Studio will be bringing their upcoming Puzzle-RPG called Lineas Frontiers to Android at some point next year. For this development studio, Lineas Frontiers is one of their major title releases slated for 2015 and is being made using GameMaker Studio Software.
One of Spider-Man’s biggest enemies is Venom and this big bad guy will be getting his own pinball table within the Zen Pinball platform next month. Depending on whether or not you follow the comic book scene, Spider-Man, or the villains he fights, Venom has to be one of the coolest and yet baddest of Spider-Man’s enemies… or at least that is what I think about him.
While the world waited with baited breath as announcements were pouring out of Google I/O yesterday, a small message appeared on the Twitter feed of Versus Evil. “We couldn’t be happier to see #BannerSaga by @StoicStudio coming to tablets this summer! Liber Primus Games will be bringing their first RPG to Android next week called Narborion Saga. This particular game is a mesh of an RPG with a narrative-style adventure game which features dynamic storytelling, side quests and mini games. This game also features some pretty awesome illustrated art to check out while you’re playing it.
If I were to mention animated movies such as The Incredibles, Toy Story, Brave, Ratatouille and Monsters University, what is the first thing that would come to mind? It would probably be Disney-Pixar and the wonderful stories and animation that they have created. If you are a fan of any of those movies you are in luck. Steel Wool Games is a new studio created by five artists that have been working in the animation industry for many years. With the aid of Ripstone Publishing, Steel Wool Games will release their first project, Flyhunter Origins this summer. It will be available for Android and Tegra powered devices in addition to other platforms. The game is prominently displayed as one to play on the new Nvidia Shield tablet.
Mobile developers who use Microsoft’s Visual Studio will now have a pretty awesome new feature for when they grab the new 2015 version. Microsoft has introduced a new high-performance emulator for developers to use when debugging their applications and games that they happen to be working on.
