Recently BlueStacks, a company best known for their software which allows select Android apps to run on PCs and Macs, announced their latest product, the GamePop. For those of you unfamiliar with GamePop, this is a home gaming console running Android to play Android games on but features a subscription-based business model where players can access all the games in full for a monthly fee.

Today PopCap has released new details and a new trailer regarding the upcoming sequel for their rather popular game Plants vs Zombies. Officially titled Plants vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time, the original trailer for the game featured a bunch of people complaining that it is about time that the sequel is finally getting released. In truth, the “It’s About Time” slogan is a good play on words since Plants vs Zombies 2 will feature different locations around the world during different time periods.
Square Enix released a new trailer for their upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics S game, which we talked about in April, which is supposed to be a tactical RPG but with social features integrated into it, hence the addition of the ‘S’ to the name. In this new trailer, we get to see the combat that will take place in the game itself.
During an interview with the developers of a rather awesome looking platformer called Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, the developer in the interview states that this game, currently available to play on PC, will be coming to Android via Nvidia’s handheld gaming system Shield.
The rather popular side-scrolling sandbox game Terraria has been officially announced as coming to mobile platforms this Summer. The game looks to be published onto Android and iOS by 505 Games and while there was no specific platforms mentioned in the announcement, so hopefully it means both Android and iOS will be getting Terraria when it is released.
