Another Triple-A developer that announced that they would be bringing a game to the Android-powered console Ouya has revealed what game that exactly will be. Portal creator Kim Swift from Airtight Games will be releasing Soul Fjord exclusively onto Ouya soon and now we have the first trailer for this funky new game.

The turn-based strategy shooter from Mode 7 called Frozen Synapse, which we’ve talked about back in April, has been confirmed to be coming to Android in the near future. While the game is currently slated for an iOS release in the middle of May, this game will feature cross-platform gameplay across all platforms that it will be launched on and that includes an Android version.
Alchimia Studios happens to be working on their debut title which is an RPG slated for release on multiple platforms including Android later this year. Their first game is called Echos of Aeons and Alchimia Studios has released a video of an early build of the game showcasing some of the gameplay that will be coming with the game.
Ubisoft releases a trailer for their upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag companion application The Watch.
Ubisoft is working the hype train with the release of a trailer that shows off their upcoming companion service (and companion application) for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag called The Watch. This companion service and application will be available to players who have pre-ordered the Pirate themed edition of the Assassin’s Creed Saga.
With the 0.7.0 update closing in on actually getting released, we get to see glimpses of what the game will look like after all the UI changes that have been getting worked on to make the game a little more polished looking. We’ve already taken a look at the new home screen for Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 and now we can a better look at the new menus that will be arriving with this rather big update.
The long awaited space sim game Star Command which had a rather successful Kickstarter campaign, will be arriving onto iOS on May 2nd. So what about us Android gamers? Well as much as the company behind Star Command wants to release the Android version at the same time, we will unfortunately have to wait until June 2013 to get our hand on their game.
While we are still waiting for Square Enix to catch up on some of their Final Fantasy games that were slated for release onto Android, like Final Fantasy IV, Square Enix has announced a new game called Final Fantasy Tactics S which is a social tactics style of game that is sort of a spin-off of Ivalice Alliance.
One game we are eagerly looking forward to getting released is a new retro style game from OrangePixel called Heroes of Loot. Interesting news today from Google who have updated their Content Policy (the Dangerous Products section) for the Google Play store with a new little snippet of information that states developers must now go through the Google Play store when pushing updates to their games or applications. Up until now it wasn’t mandatory to push an update through Google Play which means developers were allowed to push their updates for their games or applications directly to a user’s device.
Rovio has begun teasing the next update for Angry Birds Seasons and this time we can expect to see pigs dressed up as clowns and magicians when the update arrives. The news comes in the form of a rather colorful picture Rovio tweeted earlier this morning, showing off some of what will be arriving in the new update.
