505 Studios has released a trailer for Snoop Dogg’s Way of the Dogg rhythm-based combat game showing off some of the gameplay and how it works. While the trailer is for the XBLA version of the game, just imagine that instead of using a controller for all the actions you will be doing in time to the music, you’ll be using touch screen swipes instead.

Snoop Dogg’s rhythm/fighting game Way of the Dogg, which was developed by 505 Games, was just released onto XBLA for all you Xbox 360 owners out there to buy and play. However, 505 Games isn’t stopping there with the release of Snoop Dogg’s game as they play to bring Way of the Dogg to both Android and iOS in the near future.
Zynga has been doing some soft launches of a few games lately and while this isn’t another soft launch, it is a game that will most likely see one at first before it gets fully released. Zynga is entering the world of MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) style games and Solstice Arena will be their debut MOBA title which will be arriving onto multiple platforms in the near future.
Back in April we talked about Angry Birds Seasons and that Rovio was getting ready to release an update to it which would bring a whole new game mechanic to it, one that we speculated would be something along the lines of portals that you could fling a bird into and teleport them to a different location in each stage. Rovio has now confirmed that this update will indeed have the new portal game mechanic.
Gameloft has revealed the next installment into their Gangstar franchise of games which is now officially called Gangstar Vegas. As the name suggests, this new Gangstar game takes place in good old Las Vegas, which also happen to be where DroidGamers HQ is located. Coincidence? We think not although it probably is.
Dragonplay already has a few games released worldwide for Android games but for the most part they are casino games like Live Texas Hold ‘Em Pro and Farm Casino. Well the company has announced that a new division within the company has been created called Dragonplay Casual which will deal with bringing their other games over to the rest of the world.
A couple of weeks ago we announced that the sequel to N3V Games’ Dead On Arrival zombie shooting game would be having a pre-beta launch for its final testing before the game is officially launched onto Google Play for everyone to download. There are a few things to note before just diving right into the game if you have managed to get into this beta.
Mobage has an interesting looking multiplayer cross-platform RTS game on the way to Android and iOS called Apoc Wars. This particular game has a post-apocalyptic style theme to it which sort of mimics the Boarderlands type of theme to it. Visually, however, this game has a more cel-shaded look to it.
The much anticipated 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been slightly delayed from getting pushed out onto Android and iOS. Well there is some slightly bad news today for all of you chomping at the bit to get this update as well as getting on Minecraft Realms with your own server or onto your friend’s server.
Madfinger Games has come out today with some new that should make plenty of people happy. If you happen to own an Ouya Android-powered game console, have a GameStick on pre-order and arriving soon, or plan on grabbing a Wikipad then you’ll be happy to know that Madfinger Games will have you covered in one form or another on any of those devices soon.
