Back in November 2012 we talked about a new game coming from Fox Digital Entertainment who has teamed up with Angry Mob Games that would be a new addition to the Predator and Aliens franchises. Having already released an official Predator game, this new title is called AVP: Evolution and will let players take part in the Aliens vs Predator universe from both perspectives.

Strange news today coming from the folks over at Gameloft. While the company just announced their Q4 2012 earning which shows the company making quite the improvement when it comes to profit, showing a 27% increase in revenue over Q4 2011 profits. For Q4 2012 Gameloft pulled in a consolidated sales total of €57.7 million which also marks the company’s bigest quarter last year. So with such an increase in profit, news of Gameloft shutting down their India studio seems a bit strange.
While OUYA recently announced improvements to the controllers, based on feedback the company has gotten, that will be coming with the Android-based game console, one of their direct competitors has also received a new look based on feedback from backers of their Kickstarter campaign. On top of that, thanks to the successful backing that GameStick received while on Kickstarter, the unit will now come with a docking station as well.
Yesterday we talked about Rovio teasing a new content update for their pig-centric physics-based puzzle game Bad Piggies and now today we get to talk about another update coming our way although this time it is for their Angry Birds Star Wars game. A few moments ago Rovio posted a teaser image of the Millennium Falcon flying into an underground tunnel. An underground themed update perhaps?
You might recognize the name Asobimo and that could very well be because we’ve talked about this company and some of their games in the past such as Celes Arca and Iruna Online, both of which are MMORPGs for mobile. Their newest game that is currently in a limited open beta phase right now is called Avabel Online and is also a rather impressive looking cross-platform MMORPG.
Recently OUYA started a ‘game jam’ called CREATE which, in reality, is a bit more of a development competition more than an actual game jam. Regardless of how you want to look at it, OUYA has been offering up $45,000 in prizes across different categories for great games submitted by developers for the OUYA console.
Glu Mobile has just announced that a sequel to their rather popular top-down arcade shooter Gun Bros will be arriving soon on Google Play. Appropriately named Gun Bros 2, Glu Mobile has decided to announce this sequel by releasing a cinematic trailer for this upcoming game.
Rovio’s pig-centric physics-based puzzle game Bad Piggies looks like it will be getting a new content update soon or at least that is what the company is hinting at over on the Bad Piggies Twitter account. In a tweet earlier this morning, in true Rovio fashion, the company tweeted a teaser image regarding what looks to be an update called Road Hogs.
It looks like nVidia could have much bigger plans then they let on during CES 2013. During that show the company revealed quite a few new products such as nVidia’s GRID cloud game streaming service, their GeForce Experience (mostly for PC gaming), Project Shield and their new Tegra 4 chipset. Well that might not be the end of it there either, at least according to the Russian tech site Mobile Review.
The second piece of Minecraft: Pocket Edition news isn’t as detailed as this morning’s earlier article but it is almost as excited for fans of the game. For those of you patiently waiting for the 0.6.0 update to arrive, you will only have to wait a couple more days before you will be able to download the update, craft some armor and put up signs all over the place.
