Crowdfunding has become rather popular recently and for developers can be quite successful. A prime example of this is the recent news regarding Double Take’s Kickstarter project which, as of right now, is sitting at around $1.6million dollars. Right now we really can’t get enough Minecraft: Pocket Edition news thanks to recent release of an update which brought an early version Survival Mode to the game. Now, after an online talk hosted by Sony Ericsson, Business Director Daniel Kaplan outlined the future plans for Minecraft: Pocket Edition.

Sony’s upcoming PlayMemories service and application suite will be launching this March (if all goes well) and along with it will come an application for Android as well. The entire PlayMemories suite will actually consist of four different parts: PlayMemories Studio, PlayMemories Online, PlayMemories Home and PlayMemories Mobile.
