Ankama seems to be quite busy these days when it comes to developing mobile games. Currently the company has at least three games that we know of in the works for Android, a couple of which we have already talked about including WAKFU Raiders. We can now add a fourth game to this list called Tactile Wars which just soft launched today onto Google Play in select regions.

A new FPS-strategy hybrid game will be arriving for mobile devices soon. Currently in the beta testing phase of development, Dead Union is a blend of FPS gameplay with base building strategy mechanics, and zombies of course. However this game may not be exactly what you are thinking it is.
Google’s Project Ara Puerto Rico pilot program getting ‘re-routed’, possible change in plans for the modular phone
After a somewhat long period of silence Google’s Project Ara Twitter account sprang to life yesterday with a few tweets updating everyone with what is going on with the project. As it turns out, the news wasn’t the best we could have had, but it wasn’t the worst either.
Currently in development for PC, Block’hood is a rather interesting looking vertical city builder that may also end up coming to mobile tablets soon. It all depends on how successful the game ends up when it is released for PC. So if it doesn’t do good, we may not see it hit tablets, which would be a real shame since it looks like a lot of fun.
Originally developed during the Toronto Game Jam in 2013, Knight & Damsel from MK-Ultra has been in development since then, but it look like it will finally be getting released onto PC and the Ouya console. Knight & Damsel seems like a pretty fun game, especially since it is an ‘un-cooperative’ multiplayer title.
Niantic becomes independent company, set to receive user info from Google which users need to approve
Niantic Labs, the group behind Ingress and Field Trip, are now becoming independent from Google, likely stemming from Google’s restructuring into a subsidiary of Alphabet. They have sent out emails to users indicating not only that Niantic is now it’s open company, but also that they are to receive a transfer of information.

Adult Swim Games has announced that the next installment into their Monsters Ate My franchise will be landing on mobile devices on Thursday of this week. This new game is called Monsters Ate My Metropolis, and like the name suggests, players will be destroying whole cities with giant hammers and other fun items.
Games Workshop has teamed up with developers Pixel Toys to make a new Warhammer 40K game for mobile devices. Officially called Warhammer 40K: Freeblade, this will be a very different type of Warhammer 40K than we have seen for mobile devices so far.

Good news for Android gamers wanting to play the immensely popular Fallout Shelter game from Bethesda. The company just announced moments ago on Twitter that the Android version would finally be arriving next month, on August 13th, 2015 to be exact.
