You have to love this time of year, especially around this weekend as that is when all these sales happen whether it is just for Labor Day weekend or for longer to celebrate the end of summer. Whether this is Google planning a sale or just happens to be a group effort, either way we benefit with some great deals.

This weekend is the Labor Day weekend and to follow the tradition of past years, game developers are putting their goods on sale for the weekend and Gameloft is no exception. While they are only putting up three games on sale for the weekend, they happen to be some pretty big names.
Herocraft is getting in on the Back to School action with a game sale covering four of their games, all of which will be discounted down to $0.99 for a limited time. The sale starts tomorrow and will last until September 3rd, 2012 at which point the games will go back to their regular pricing.
The Humble Bundle for Android 3 has been out for a short bit, featuring four games plus an unlockable fifth game should you pay more than the average price at the time of purchasing the bundle. Now we have just learned that the Humble Bundle for Android 3 has an additional four games added to it for a total of nine.
Two classic games that have been brought over to Android thanks to DotEmu have gone on sale for a pretty hefty discount over on Amazon’s AppStore. Both Another World and R-Type have had their prices dropped by up to 82% off, making picking up a copy of either game pretty damn cheap.
AMA, along with BulkyPix, are throwing a Summer Sale right now on Google Play with two of their games. Both Pix N’ Love Rush and My Brute are on sale but in different ways. Pix N’ Love Rush is on sale for 50% off which means you can pick up a copy of this cool retro style game for $0.99.
Madfinger Games has dropped the pricing on all their games on the Google Play store to a nice low $0.99. This includes for the regular and THD versions of Samurai II: Vengeance and Shadowgun.
The sale is to celebrate the release of Madfinger Games’ newest title called Dead Trigger which is slated for release at just about any time today.
Not sure if you’ve noticed but there is an app called AppSales that has been floating around for a few months now that tracks drops in prices of games and apps on Google Play. For avid Android gamers, AppSales obviously comes in handy to get games at a lower than usual price.
As it turns out EA are not the only ones having a rather steep discount on a couple of their games. In fact a lot of developers have lowered their prices to $0.99 on not just games but applications as well. Here is a list of games currently available for $0.99 in what is being called the “Longest Day Deals” sale.
The ridiculously awesome Because We May indie Android game sale has expanded its catalog with a lot more games. When we last wrote about the sale when it started on May 24th, 2012 it was already sporting 57 great indie games for Android that had been discounted. Now the sale has expanded to include over 90 games!
