EA has confirmed that the new addition to the Madden series of football games will be coming to multiple platforms including Android at some point next month. They also announced that Need for Speed: Shift 2 would be coming as well but only for iOS for now unfortunately.

EA is being sneaky these days it seems as last week we saw the quiet launch of their Android Flexion store along with one game being released for the Xperia Play called D.A.R.K. Well this week we find another game quietly released onto the EA Flexion Store in the form of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

During today’s EA press conference, the company announced a great new feature coming to the official mobile version of Scrabble. Currently available for iOS and Facebook, EA announced that it will launch cross-platform gameplay for Scrabble across iOS, Android and Facebook. So where is the Android version?
EA has re-launched their Origin website and with the new features looks to take on Steam at their own game. So what does this have to do with us? The new Origin will also be focusing on mobile gaming as well which includes Android. The site now acts just like Steam does for PC/console gamers.
EA just let us know of their upcoming sale they will be having on iOS and Android titles this Memorial Day weekend. Two of their games will be on sale for $0.99 while all their other titles on Android will be up to 50% off. Not a bad time to pick of an EA game or two.
EAi has been sniffing around for another purchase to add to their mobile line-up of acquisitions to strengthen their mobile gaming efforts. First is was the purchase of Chillingo last year, then recently Mobile Post Production Inc. Now they have let it be known that they will be acquiring Firemint and adding their skills to theirs.
EA has a rather popular RPG game on Facebook called Dragon Age: Legends and it will be making the jump to mobile, including Android, in the near future. This is an entirely 2D-based RPG game for all you RPG fans out there to play. As with any RPG game, you’ll be able to do quests, level up, get gear and all that good stuff.
Everyone who has been waiting for Bejeweled 2 to be released since EA Mobile started hinting at it during Christmas can be happy now that the wait is over. One of the better, if not the best, match-3 type of games made, it has been available for pretty much every system except Android for awhile now. Better late then never right?
