EA is always at E3 2013 and apparently they might just have a Plants vs Zombies 2 demo there to check out. However, before all hell breaks loose in LA in a couple of weeks, it appears that EA and PopCap want to have a little fun and have created a mock-up, posting it on Twitter, of what Plants vs Zombies would look like if it was combined with Mass Effect, officially being called Grass Effect.

A couple of days ago we mentioned that EA’s Real Racing 3 would be getting a pretty decent sized update soon that would bring a new city to race through, new events and some new cars to try and collect. Well that update has now arrived and is available for download.
EA has begun teasing the next Real Racing 3 update which is shaping up to be a pretty decent sized update in terms on content. As it stands right now, the update will bring a whole new city into the picture along with new cars and even some new events to participate in.
Back in April of this year Electronic Arts released the first ever freemium version of a Tetris game onto Android in a limited soft release called Tetris Blitz. As with any ‘blitz’ style of game, in this one your goal is to get as high of a score as possible within a given amount of time. In this case you have two minutes to rack up as many points as possible.
Interesting news today regarding EA’s Frostbite game engine and the fact that a mobile centric version of the engine will be available soon going by the name of Frostbite Go. This is something everyone should be excited about, almost as excited as when we first heard about developers using Unreal Engine for mobile games.
Electronic Arts and Walt Disney emerged from the conference room yesterday to announce an exclusive development deal that will make EA and their subsidiaries exclusive developers for all things Star Wars for the next few years. Disney also stated that they will retain certain rights to develop new titles for the mobile and social platforms in the future, at their discretion. This is another historical exclusive score for EA as some of you may remember the EA Sports / NFL exclusive deal inked in 2004 and it remains today.
Recently Popcap confirmed that aside from all that is going on with layoffs and whatnot that Plants vs Zombies 2 is still a thing and is still coming to Android. Today the company has released a preview trailer announcing an official release date, sort of, but the trailer doesn’t feature any gameplay.
It was only a matter of time before EA brought Popcap’s Bejeweled Blitz over to Android for Bejeweled fans to kill all their free time with. Actually it is surprising that this game hadn’t made it way to Android before now. Regardless of that, it is here now and match-3 puzzle fans can now dive into this new Bejeweled game on their Android devices.
Following the news regarding what EA games are compatible with the new Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, the company has also gone ahead ad launched a new Monopoly themed games onto Google Play called Monopoly Hotels. This isn’t a board game though and instead this will let you buy, build and manage Monopoly hotels.
Following in the footsteps of Gameloft’s recent announcement regarding how many of their games will be supporting Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 phone, EA has made a similar announcement today stating that 16 of their games are already ‘enhanced’ and compatible with the Galaxy S4.
