Dungeon Defenders: First Wave is a highly addictive game mixed between action-rpg and tower defense gameplay. It was developed using the Unreal Engine and supports both newer high-end single-core and dual-core Android devices. Originally released as a paid title, since the launch of Google’s in-app purchasing, it has gone free-to-play.

As we have been reporting for the last week or so, the latest update for Dungeon Defenders: First Wave was set to land any day. Version 4.0 (actually it’s v4.3) brings a slew of new features including a new PvP mode/map, more secrets for Legendary Heroes and of course, the Tavern Shop! More details after the break.
Last week we reported on an upcoming update for Dungeon Defenders: First Wave that was labeled as v3.0. Trendy Entertainment was waiting on the App Store to approve the update before rolling it out to Android at the same time. Unfortunately, that didn’t pan out but the good news is, we’re getting two updates in one.
Dungeon Defenders: First Wave has a new update coming and will be version 3.0. While Trendy Entertainment is keeping some of the update quiet along with the official changelog due to waiting on Apple’s submission process to go through, we do know a few things that will be in the update as well as a few rumors.
What we are going to call the first content update for Dungeon Defenders: First Wave was released yesterday and among the changes are some new features that should make the game even more fun.
