Another week and another Gameloft game is announced. This time around it is an official game and not one that is unnaturally close to another game on another platform. Today Gameloft has released a trailer to their upcoming game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard.
Last month Gameloft released N.O.V.A. 2 for Android but exclusively for the Xperia Play for a limited time. Well that limited time is now up and Gameloft just annuonced via Twitter that N.O.V.A. 2 is now available for all compatible Android devices. Sorry no Android Market release for this title though.
One of Glu Mobile’s newest freemium games for iOS, called Contract Killer, will be making the jump to Android as well. Currently being shown off at Google I/O 2011, Contract Killers is an FPS (First-person shooter) where you are a sniper and you fulfill contracts to kill bad guys.

It looks as though Gameloft is testing the waters of the Android Market once again. after a very long period of time with none of their newest games being released onto the Android Market, Gameloft has finally let one go called Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus. Is the end near?
John Carmack, Technical Director over at id Software who has developed Rage for iOS, came out today and confirmed that Rage will not be coming to Android anytime soon. This news makes us wonder what the job posting they had up for Android developers awhile back was for if it wasn’t to bring Rage to Android.
Gameloft just announced that the long awaited sequel to the great FPS (first-person shooter) game called N.O.V.A is now available for the Xperia Play. N.O.V.A 2 will be exclusive to the Xperia Play for at least 1 month before it lands on any other supported Android devices. If you enjoyed the first, you’ll want the second.
Big news out of left field from Gameloft regarding the much awaited sequel to their great 3D FPS (First-person shooter) game N.O.V.A.! At first the news may make you sad unless you are planning to buy an Xperia Play. Why? Because N.O.V.A 2 will exclusive to the Xperia Play for one month before becoming available to other supported devices.
We knew this day was coming since back when we posted about the limited closed beta that was going on and then with Gameloft officially announcing it was coming a little over a week ago. The purchase page went up a few hours ago and it is indeed working as well as Gameloft confirming it is out for Android now.
Gameloft officially announced that Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus would be released ‘soon’ and since then reports have ranged from Jan 18th – early February. However the only other specific date mentioned is Jan. 28th, 2011 which is right around the corner. In fact multiple sites are reporting that it will be Jan. 28th, 2011.
