GDc is a great event to sit down with developers of all sizes to talk about current and future titles heading to our world of mobile gaming on Android. We got to sit down with Com2uS this year to take a look at what is on the way in the near future as well as what we can expect to see 6-8 months down the road.
[Update: Released] League of Angels – Fire Raiders gets a new interview video with the developers, limited open beta now live
The upcoming MMORPG we reported on back in the beginning of February 2015 now has a new video that is essentially a bit of an interview/introduction to the developers behind the game. Spin Masters have taken this idea and expanded on it by making the toys your scan into the game have their own stats, abilities, and so on but allowing them to be customizable by swapping out parts and adding new ones.
Created by Ariano Games, Dot Heroes: Woop Woop Ninja is a Floppy Birds clone, with an RPG twist. There isn’t much of a story to speak of, so I’ll describe the gameplay. Players control a little black dot that wears a red headband. At the start of the game, and each subsequent level (so far as I played), the dot flies/falls through the air, inky contrail and all, only moving upward when the screen is tapped.
Back in the Summer of last year a rather neat RPG landed onto Android called Widget RPG. The concept of this game was to make playing an RPG relatively painless during every day life by having the entire thing be playable via a widget on your Android phone or tablet. That way progressing through the game can be done by simply tapping on the widget.
DUBAKISoft has just released a new game, called Monster Doors. The idea of the game is simple, where players assume the roll of a Ghost Hunter and attempt to stem the flood of monsters, in 3D. The Ghost Hunter waits at the bottom of the screen, with his/her back to you, facing the top of the screen.
Ever win a prize from a claw machine, while at a carnival or amusement park? Me neither. But apparently it makes for a fun game on mobile platforms, as Game Circus LLC’s Prize Claw has seen over twenty five million downloads.
